<p>This is the 40x40 thread for those who run at least 40 miles per week and are over 40. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.</p>

<p><strong>Orangemat</strong> -47.6 m. - Includes runs of 17.5 and 13.6 miles.</p>
<p><strong>Paul</strong> - 40.4 m. - Includes a Saturday 16 miler.</p>
<p><strong>Rassmussenmp</strong> - 63 m. - Running along Virginia Beach and by King Neptunes Statute.</p>

<p>I'm reverse tapering but pretty much almost back up to speed again.</p>

<p>Thur 10.35</p>
<p>Fri</p>
<p>Sat 8.24</p>
<p> </p>
<p>40.77 miles for the week, 1807 for the year...closing in on 2000  :)</p>

<p>Wed... 4.3 miles</p>
<p>Thur.... 8.3 miles</p>
<p>Fri....... 4.85 miles (AM), 6.75 miles (PM) -- decided on doing a double instead of a long run this week, just because ;)</p>

<p>Sun.... rest day</p>

Trying to work my way back to 40+. this week I was able to log the following:<br><br>
Monday: rest<br>
Tuesday: weights<br>
Wednesday: 7<br>
Thursday: 5<br>
Friday: 8<br>
Saturday: rest<br>
Sunday: 10<br><br>
Total: 30

<p>This week was pretty much a recovery week/taper for Thanksgiving weekend races.  Plus I've been working 10 hour days for the past 10 days. </p>

<p>Tues<strong><em>: 7.0 miles recovery pace</em></strong></p>

<p>Thurs:<em><strong>  6.0 miles aerobic paced</strong></em></p>

<p>Sun:  <em><strong>17.0 miles along the James River on Ft Eustis Army Base in Newport News, VA.  I used to run here before I moved to the PNW.  Beautiful morning, light breeze, sunny and cool with the leaves turning golden hues of orange and browns. </strong></em></p>

<p>41 miles this week for my 42nd week at or above 40 miles in 2010. 1812 miles this year. This years goal is 44 weeks & 2000 miles. Two more 40 mile weeks & 188 miles to go.</p>
