This is the 40x40 thread for those who run at least 40 miles per week and are over 40. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.

This week will be a day to day schedule as my left knee dictates.

Mon: 5.0 miles easy, no issues with my knee, iced afterwards. keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Tues: 7.0 miles easy, knee feeling good so far. iceing continues.

Wed: 5.0 miles at an aerobic pace, so a little faster but less miles to stretch out the knee some. very slight discomfort while stretching after the run but nothing during the run. iced..

Thurs: 10.0 miles with 6.5 miles @ 8:00 pace, nice and steady. left knee the same. continue to ice after runs.

Fri: 7.0 miles @ a nice aerobic pace

Sat: 8.0 miles recovery run

Sun: 14.0 miles with 6.0 miles @ MP, i think my knee is back to normal. actually it was my calf muscle that was causing the problem. finally got it to release and all is well again.

Total: 56 miles
