I was the most recent caretaker/secretary of the 40/40 over at Coolrunning but don't want to post at the new site anymore. And I don't want such a good training motivator as the 40/40 to just disappear. So I'd like to start it here. For any of you who weren't posters over at Cool Running, the 40/40 is a group of runners 40 years old and older who run or strive to run over 40 miles per week. Since nobody was able to post their totals for last week, here's a fantasy version of it, just for Kicks.

The tally:
Dr. Wu,
Thanks for explaining to us non CR B&B'ers. I'm a long ways from getting to 40 since I just started over with the running in July of this year, but I do take inspiration from y'all. I just wanted to say thanks for explaining to us KR's.

Wu, sorry for the late reply; I've been busy brokering a peace agreement in the Middle East and just swam back across the Atlantic Ocean last night.

Only 68 miles for me last week, but my 3:49.4 indoor mile in Paris was just 0.3s off my PR. I plan to celebrate by discovering the Higgs Boson.

Hoping for more good racing in 2008!
