<p>I'm taking it slowly but after two weeks or so of walking/running 3kms yesterday I changed my routine and ran 4.4 with a stretch break at the half way point.  The dog thinks her Christmases have all come at once.  My legs wobbled like mad when I stopped but that's a familiar slow down feeling.  </p>
<p>5kms next week.</p>

<p>A bearded collie. She loves it.</p>
<p>And it's paying off.  I beat someone at tennis last week who had previously beaten me.  It was that loss that made me determined to drop some weight and start running.   She was very kind and suitably miffed!</p>
