hey all - fly by - I need post run food. Just back from my 20 miler. It was brutal. About 9 mins slower than I ran this same route last week. But, I did some other tough runs this week, and my legs were tired. The best thing I can say about the run is that it's over and I scored big points for my VRAA team.

I'll check back in later. Oh and, Congrats to Maples! Way to Go!

Me too! These back to back 50+ mile weeks with 20 mile long runs have finally caught up to me. I feel tired and lathargic. My legs are officially sore!

Maria & Pacer & EQ way to go with the 70+ mile weeks. I'm not there yet.

Kris - way to go with the 14 miler. It's always exciting to run into uncharted territory.

Official run stats from this morning: 20.58 miles - 3:08:56 (9:10 mm pace). It was basically a survival run. Pretty ugly.

Nice run Dom!

Nice 10 mile PR EQ.

Way to go Moon.

I'm so sorry for you Theia. I just watched the sportscenter high-lights from the game and WOW...What a game. And, they had 66,000 people there for it. Mr. Beckham did not disappoint, even though LA ended up losing. It's going to be interesting to watch. There's hope that his presence will do two things, one raise the level of play of the existing players both those on his team and those on the other teams, and two attract more european players to the league. We'll see what happens. Currently, the MLS is really not rich enough or prestegious enough to keep the top US and Canadian players from aspiring to go abroad to play in Champions league clubs.

Just getting the first cup of coffee in me. I was dragging all day after the 20 miler. I have easy 5 on tap for late today. I've got honey do list chores to do around the house. Closet door to fix, kitchen sink faucet, and then start on the kid's bathroom remodel.

Later,
Hey all,

hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm just back from 5.25 east recovery miles. That wraps up another week of training with about 54 miles in the log. I know it's not up there with PC, Baggs, and now Maria and EQ, but by my records, this is my 3rd highest week ever. Legs felt good today after yesterdays brutal run.

Night all,
