We're getting ready to head to CT for the night. We're celebrating Christmas Eve, with all the traditional fish, with my ILs early this year. Which is nice...means we aren't travelling home on 12/23 at midnight.<br><br>
Sun we're going carolling up in Essex with my best friend and her family. Another tradition that I love!<br><br>
Hope everyone had a lovely week! I wasn't able to post at all. I was sick on Mon and then I was busy...

Heh. My mom has a store. Her customer service is wonderful.... always takes off tags, wraps stuff in tissue and is wicked fast about it , has staff to carry things out...(plus she's so nice). People are getting really cranky and rude.<br>
Hmm...clearly they do not know they are dealing with MY mama.<br><br>
In other news...I saw two boys smoke a bowl in the truck next to me at a street light. I couldn't help it. I was cracking up. Glad I wasn't driving the same direction as they were...but cracking up none the less...I mean the smoke was billowing out of the truck like Spicoli style...

Morning. We have one more gift to get today and we're done with the shopping. Luckily we'll be heading out to a boutique in cutesy historic downtown Bethlehem. A lot less crowds. Then just hanging out at home.<br><br>

Shortest day of the year folks. I am going to be crazy and go to the stores but only 2, 1 to pick up a present for my aunt (its the last one I have to get) and then to LL Bean to make a return. They are open 24 hours right now so I may just go at some rediculous hour.<br><br><br>
Wear & Wares? If you knew what it is you wanted I could pick it up for you since I have to stop by your house today. Since Bethlehem is like 7 miles from my house I figured it might be easier for me to get it. Let me know.

I ventured into a mall yesterday morning - the first time in months, so I wasn't as pained by the experience. Didn't stay too long nonetheless. I didn't know our town now has a Sephora! That's cool...<br><br>
Getting excited for Christmas Eve done early - tonight, at my parents. Have baked a bazillion cookies, got all my gifts, made up little cards for everyone...<br><br>
And have a sore throat and voice of gravel - and am headed off for some muscle-squeezing ART treatment.<br><br>

We officially finished Christmas shopping last night...we went to Tar-get (French accent included) after 9 p.m. which was perfect. Hardly anyone was there, and some stuff we wanted they already had on clearance. Just thought I'd pass it on in case anyone still has stuff to do--late night is the way to do it.<br><br>
Wrapping and baking some more today.<br><br><b><i>Question</i></b>: I'm trying to thing of creative ways to either wrap gifts or little baubles I can put on on the top that are inventive. Ideas?<br><br>
The Winter Solstice was this morning at 12:08 a.m. Central Time (Thanks, <b>Kerik)</b> and usually I like to be awake for it...weird thing about me...but not last night.<br><br>

Morning all! Heading uptown in just a bit for brunch with J's brother, sister-in-law and their kids. As always we went wayyyyy overboard with stuff for the kiddos but the looks on their faces is priceless!<br><br>
I spent some late hours last night playing around with my new iPhone!!! J also spoils the hell outta me. Plus we're going to see <b>Ricky Gervais</b> this summer when he's in NYC. Woooo hooooo!!!!<br><br><b>Crane</b> - what about wrapping in Chinese food containers? Or for toppers, I like to include a small ornament or a previous year's Christmas card cut up and crafted with ribbons and such by a glue gun.
