My peeps!

Back from Michigan. Unfortunately there wasn't much time left over for 30s meet and greets because of my massive family and the gratuitous driving that needed to be done.

The game was pretty good. I don't think we'll be invited back.

Work is really busy, so I've missed lots of posts. Hopefully I'll get some time to dig into the RR forum and catch up on the weekend racers.

Rich has been working really hard to bomb-proof the place in his spare moments. Tough job trying to do that stuff at the end of a long day at work, so once again, THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!!!

KP/Tonya - Thanks for trying!

Kath - Next time for sure!

Okay.. I'm going to really "geekify" myself, but I actually wanted to learn to speak Klingon. I worked in a software store at the time, and I checked-out a game/ klingon tutorial, where you had to learn klingon to understand what was going on in the game. Sadly, I didn't have the patience for it. I'd love to speak klingon!!!!!!!

However, on SpacyDaisy's quiz... Piccard had a fish?!??!!

Maria - Thanks for your take/advice on my future progress.
On the cheerleader front: I would just like to say that Klingon's are Hot in a Ridged Brain Kinda Way. That is all. Go! Team!!!!!
Damn, I'm away from home - I would have been able to look this up in my Klingon dictionary.

Really.
Oy. You guys are making my head hurt. I'm so tired I can't keep up.

Lots of rehearsals. Lots of little last minute costume adjustments. A little mini meltdown last night when I saw a couple things on stage and HATED THEM AND CAN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING ABOUT THEM (please refer to PRT thread: "desperately seeking".)

I'm so tired that I'm nauseous every morning when I get up, I'm not eating much during the day, and I look worn out to the point where people have asked me if I'm alright.

(An aside: we just got an email with the subject line: Rehab Week Open House. Oh good, now I'll know where to go when my addiction gets out of hand. I need a f'ing new job.)

Oh and I'm not running. I'm barely walking.

Pffft. Someone's not in a good mood.

Ramsey and Heather, good to know I'm not alone. Seems like there's a lot of that going around.

My coworker just got diagnosed with breast cancer. F'ing cancer.

Litch, your story brought tears to my eyes.

I'm wearing my naughty librarian shoes today, but they aren't making me feel better.

Bah. Boo hiss.

Maureen - get yourself out for a run; it'll improve your mood and quality of life. I PROMISE!!!
Theia I forgot to send hugs to your cute dog yesterday.

{{Maureen}}
Don't have time. I do have tap on tap this evening though.

Jazz hands all around.
perhaps it's not a fair question. a better question would be what food source did tribbles consume in an OS episode that revealed an evil plot?

picard's fish was named livingston. that is NOT a euphemism.

Wednesday quickie

Forgot to say welcome to the group sun!

Ramsey I can relate. While my wife and I are talking, things havent been so good at my house the last few weeks either. I dont have answers to my own issues but I hope you and your DW can resolve yours.

Crap, I forgot what else I was going to say. I guess the mind is the first thing to go
Heather - Thanks!

Oh, and something about running - PDR Elites.

Holy-mega-crappo that's quite a lineup. Whoever (PC?) suggested that a lot of people would use it as a tuneup for the Trials was right on. At least 37 guys who have run under 68. Julius Kibet, Brandon Leslie - nice! Also nice to see some locals on there - 1 from Bryn Mawr and 3 Philly Track club. I think that is going to be a crazy race up front!
Hey everybody. Well done to the site admins for fixin' us up. I didn't even attempt to scamble to multiple websites over the past few days. We were so slammed at work I would not have had time anyway.

I'm still chugging along. Currently I am in the middle of week 4 of the OHR program. No big change until day 3 when you jump up 4 minutes.

Feel a bit beat down and worn out but I'll survive. Just need a lil' pep.

The radio engineering during the Ole Miss vs. Missouri game went very well. I received a number of compliments from the "powers that be". There were actually megga problems with a separate broadcast location that the pre-game crew use. So they had to abandon ship and move up to our location. Therefore I had to engineer them on the fly without notice. I also had to work the post-game show for them since they still had not resolved their technical problems.

It was one of those situations in life where you actually learn more by everything going haywire (no pun intended) instead of the broadcast following a completely flawless layout. Sort of a "you learn more by having to fix more" scenario.

Anywho I am off to beautiful Nashvegas (Nashville) early Saturday morning for our SEC opener with Vanderbilt. Nashville is probably, without doubt the most beautiful "big city" I have ever visited. And no I am not very well travelled but Nashville is very clean and appealing to the eye.

Well that's about all I can think of for now. Have a good one everybody.

Didn't the tribbles eat the grain in the storage bins?
Someone please tell me why I want to be here today? Please someone tell me why I got out of bed? I was tired then, I am tired now.

And my ankle hurts, dag nabbit!

Gosh, aren't I a little ray of sunshine
