Hey, it works! Good job, Rich! I hope it lasts...

Quick fly-by for me, since I shouldn't be posting at work any more. I hope everybody is doing well, and my best wishes to you if you're not...

Eek, Maggie and I are having our apartment painted this week, and our place is an absolute mess! Our closets have all been emptied out, and everything we own is in piles in the middle of the rooms with tarps over them. What a nightmare!

Well, back to work. I'll check in this evening. Keeping my fingers crossed that KR will still be functioning then...

Good afternoon, everybody. I just got home and have skimmed thru the first 250+ posts, but I saw a few posts along the lines of the following:

And all I gotta say is, Aw thanks...

I saw a couple questions early on about the rooms were painting. We're painting everything in very simple colors. The baby's room is a very soft yellow, and the master bedroom is basically an off-white. We will soon be painting the living room a light beige. They may be boring colors, but we want to buy a house and sell the apartment before too long, and it'll help if we have nice neutral colors. Bold colors may look cool, but they also might scare off potential buyers if it's not their cup of tea. Off-whites may be boring, but they don't offend anyone...

Fall TV. Maggie and I watch 24 and Lost (too bad they don't start for another few months) as well as the CSIs, NCIS (Maggie loves this show), Simpsons and Family Guy. We didn't watch Heroes last year, but we've been renting the DVDs (we just got Vol 3 in the mail from Netflix today) and we hope to be caught up by the time the new season starts. None of the new shoes seem too amazing. Especially with the new baby on the way, we might not want to plan too much time in the fall for watching TV.

Of course, there's college football every weekend in the fall. This weekend is the first Gator game that I am really looking forward to: Saturday 3:30pm on CBS vs Tennessee. I think we're a much better team than them, plus it's a home game. But we've got a few guys banged up, so you never know. But heck, I'm happy watching any college football game you throw in front of me.

Okay, I'm just about ready to hit the road for 8-9 miles. I think I'm over my little cold, so hopefully things will be back to normal. (Knock on wood). We'll soon find out...

I read this much and I immediately had to flip back a page to look at the pic. You can imagine my disappointment when I came back and read the next line.. "Those were our passes"

Anyway, I just came back from my run. Plan was 8-9, but I didn't quite do that much. I ran with my neighbor who doesn't run that far. But he's quite a bit faster than me, so running with him pushes me and I still got a really good workout. Ended with 6.6 miles at a 8:05 pace. I'll take it.

Also, I'm thrilled because this run finally pushed my overall pace for the year down to 9:00. I had been stuck at 9:01 for eons. I've done 943 miles in 5d 21h 35m 02s. Maybe in another eon I can get the pace down to 8:59...

I wish a great evening to all...

Ugh. I used to, until I got busted for spending too much time here. Now I only post from home. And my post count is suffering because of it. I'm lagging way behind many of our fellow 30s, with no hope of catching up.. Oh well...
