My peeps!

Back from Michigan. Unfortunately there wasn't much time left over for 30s meet and greets because of my massive family and the gratuitous driving that needed to be done.

The game was pretty good. I don't think we'll be invited back.

Work is really busy, so I've missed lots of posts. Hopefully I'll get some time to dig into the RR forum and catch up on the weekend racers.

Rich has been working really hard to bomb-proof the place in his spare moments. Tough job trying to do that stuff at the end of a long day at work, so once again, THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!!!

KP/Tonya - Thanks for trying!

Kath - Next time for sure!

What a beautiful morning! The weather took a turn for the better post-rain yesterday and I feel like shouting from the rooftops! Unfortnately it wasn't quite like this last eve when I ran to the track. Got in 9.6 miles total with 3 x 1200 intervals @5:14, 5:11, 5:07 I should have doubled that number in intervals but my calves were screaming and my stomach felt like it was about to empty up through my mouth. I blame the potato chips I ate w/lunch yesterday. Bad Maria!!! Tonight will be at least 8 miles and also some yoga. Gotta be gentle with my calves and right hammy.

Hang in there Kini …we've made it to hump day

Jill - I didn't get a chance to tell you how much I loved the pictures of you & Zeke from your race over the weekend. Such a cool event!!

Yeah! Brandy has her running mojo back.

Thanks Rich for bringing KR back to life -- we REALLY appreciate all of your hard work!!!!

Ha! I was totally thinking that I should suck it up b/c I knew you were running the same intervals but my legs had a different opinion. I am, too, encouraged by the run and aching to do a 5K now.

Public Service Annoucement - new season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia starts at 10:00 p.m. EDT this Thursday on FX! If you haven't seen it yet, tune it - you'll pee your pants with their irreverence.
I think this sounds like a good start. Walk to build up and then splice in running but still at a reasonable pace. Do you find TM walking/running is kinder to your joints? I ask b/c I find I get more of a beatdown from the TM rather than being outside. If you feel the same, perhaps hitting some trails or crushed rock/gravel paths will help more in your return? Something to think about.

Tim (from CT) - Thanks
I did the same when I had to quit my bootcamp classes. It was like family!! p.s. Voo is headed to Europe ...England and France (maybe more) for English Jason's wedding part deux
P-Tom just pulled a total Revenge of the Nerds move ...LOL!!!
Maureen - get yourself out for a run; it'll improve your mood and quality of life. I PROMISE!!!
QOD - What television show(s) are you most looking forward to this fall?
QOD - The Office, Biggest Loser (it already started tho), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, LOST (in February), Heroes (if I ever catch up), The Wire (I think it's coming back)
Oooo, good call on Journeyman - Liam. I'm gonna check that one out too.
Sweet! We don't have anyone from Nebraska here yet. And good luck with the possible move situation. That's a toughie.

BTW, are you a Cornhusker fan? Because my dad has one of these [middle dude's head] and I think it's just about the best thing around!

A foursome seems like wayyyyyy too much work.
I love this answer. I esp. like how you broke out champagne and OJ in lieu of saying mimosas
49. What is your favorite position? One of dominance
50. Do you like to karaoke? When the booze is a-flowing and when video is not being shot.
Re: Karaoke - all I know is that I'm fairly certain upstate NY does not require the amount of funk that Doc & I can provide vis a vis Raspberry Beret.
