Frankie- Continued prayers and good vibes.

1. All cheese is good. Except so called American cheese (which is not actually cheese at all) unless on a grilled cheese sandwich, with pickles preferrably!

2. Can I have your pickle?

3. OMG. Beer, pesto and brie all in one delicious combo. I need to come to Tuscon it seems!

Actually, you're ALL wrong- Amy's are the best! Actually, I like Amys, Morningstar, Gardenburger and Boca.. I think Boca must have changed their recipe because they used to have a really bad taste and I tried them recently (on sale so I figured it couldn't hurt to try again after all these years). Very good! I also love those Ribs, Sage. Nummy Nummy with a side of rice and a salad!

And who was it that mentioned eating chili with fritos?? They had fritos on sale at the store- WHERE I WENT TO PICK UP YOGURT!!!- and so I had to get it, along with chili ingredients.. boca ground, chili beans, corn, tomatoes (rotel) and CHEESE!! I even let the free scone sample lady talk me into getting scones. Lemon ones. Dessert!

THANKS for the replies about the HM. I am still gonna mull it over, but I'm leaning towards running it. I will figure out a good pace as was suggested and try keeping to it on my next few LRs. Guess if I can do it there, it should be ok. This is a fairly flat- even downhill- course since it's on a rails to trails trail. Shouldn't cause any physical issues for me in that regard.

Ok, with growling tummy, I'm off to make dinner!

Hi! Oh, I already did that.

Much better today. I'll get back to running tomorrow.

Jill - forgot to put a big ol at the end of my pm.

Public Service Announcements
1. If at all possible, don't rip a big loud fart in a co-workers cube. (No, it wasn't me.)
2. Please learn how to shake hands properly. This means NO LIMP FISH hands. And if you're a man, don't wimp out when you shake a woman's hand.

QOD:I can't eat potatoes. How about squash fries?

Burgers: Onions, but only if they're caramelized. Pickles. Coarse Mustard. Cheese. No peppers or fungus. Ew.

Actually this issue is not really cut and dry. Though you may not be one of them there are a lot of women who expect to have a feminine type handshake. The problem is that we men have to decide which one you want. If a woman puts her hand out like a regular handshake then I will shake it firmly like any other handshake. But, if a woman puts her hand out palm down with her fingers sort of dangling in the air, I do one of those lightly grab the fingers and bow slightly things. Am I way off base?

Oh and also - back from 12 miles in 1:33:47 ...now I felt good and I kept the gas on but I might need to re-map the route to assure it truly was 12 miles.

I can't keep up with you guys. I had to skip over like 6 pages or something, but I do know that good vibes are owed to the Frankie crowd and the Moe crowd. If I've missed you, sorry. My good vibes are all-inclusive, though.

I'm in Chicago right now. I'd have contacted Chicago folks but I'm here for a conference and knew I wouldn't have a lot of time. I regret that decision slightly, though, because I did waste about 2 hours walking all over McCormick Place and the surrounding area, looking for a drug store. Y'all have no stores out this way.

Oh well, cardio is cardio. I finished it up with some weights at the hotel gym.

Hey, my 12 yo knows that I am either logging workouts or chatting with ya'll when he sees me on the computer. 12 yo's are pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Awww. Thanks!

pssst Maria... Go with the "I STRONGLY object!" approach. Not a particular supporter of any specific cheeses, but I like that line (movie anyone?)
