Morning, all

Didn't get back on the computer yesterday until late last night. Was packed to leave the shore when we realized we had to take my 90 year old grandmother to the hospital. Another round of congestive heart failure. Turns out there may have been a small heart attack, too. Cripes. We've been through this a lot with her, but she's been good for the past 2 years. She's a fighter. I don't panic anymore -- she's lived a long, good life. I just hope that when this stuff happens, whether she bounces back or this is it, that they make her comfortable... I'll be heading back to the hospital and the shore a little later.

So, I picked up a couple things skimming through the thread last night:
Awesome pics, Bard, Staci, Mary and Tiff
Theia, loved your reunion story! Fantastic!
HELLO! to Keriksen and Saucon. And to Litch, because I haven't said hello in a while, I think

re: middle/edges: I lean toward the edges, but if only the middle is available, that is just fine

re: pick-up scenarios while running: Reminds me of the time I was running the Art Museum loop in Philly. Was finishing my 10ish mile run, had about 1 more mile to go. I see a hot guy stretching (no visible ring), so I say, "hey, how 'bout helping me finish my last mile?!"
him: how can I pass up an offer like that?
and we proceed to run back to Boathouse Row together, chatting the whole way about where we live, where we work, etc
Until,
him: Oh, there's the wife! (pushing a stroller, I might add)
me: Huh. Great! Ok, then, thanks for finishing out my run with me.
him: (stopping in front of the wife and stroller while said wife is shooting me death-ray eyes) Uh huh.

Rats. He was a cute one...

Today's supposed to be a rest day, but I'm going to try to get some yoga and swimming done... Have a good day, everyone!
