just had to go drag hank out of the back yard. just on the other side of the stoopid 4 ft. fence was maybe the biggest damn boy deer i've ever seen. naturally, this being this time of year, instead of being scared when hank barked at him, he was like, "say bark one more time."
You know what I hate? I mean, I know why they do it, but I freaking hate getting all the packaging off of DVDs. Sometimes you get lucky and the sticky things pull off fairly easy, other times it's like trying to get a mammoth out of a tarpit or something.
Hi all- greetings from Paris! We landed this morning around 6:30 but by the time we got to the apartment we are staying in it was almost 9- took a power nap, DH went to his conference and I just walked out to get a ham/cheese baguette for lunch. It's raining- boo...I may go for a quick run this afternoon to get some circulation back im my body. That flight was bad enough from Boston in the past- but this one was horrendous. Thank god for business class (free upgrades- a bonus of DH traveling so much). I'll have to catch up on yesterdays thread- I only had a chance to read briefly on our layover in DC.
What new DVD did you get, Scratch? $hit, that reminds me that I still haven't returned a DVD that was due on Saturday. Gah! I hate renting movies for this very reason. Shoulda just bought the danged thing outright (had to watch for my class), I'd probably have spent less than the rental + late fees.

I am feeling so unstressed today, for all that I have a zillion and one things to do before I leave for Philly. My 3-day weekend was just what the dr ordered. Two parties, shopping for new running gear, and being told by Oache that I look HAWT in my glasses... why, who couldn't feel good after all that?
Quack quack waddle waddle all day long,
Quack quack waddle waddle sing a duck song...

This is Lena's favorite song these days. And so I must sing it whenever I can.

I made a wicked roast beef last night! Mmm...yuu-uummy!

And it snowed a bit last night. Messy out there, I'm glad I don't have to drive anywhere.

QOD: Do you do anything that might be considered odd in your sleep? I have to sleep facing away from my DH. No matter what side of the bed I'm on (and I'm usually on the right side). I once dated a guy who talked in his sleep. Once he told me that "it all begins at the barber shop." I'm not quite sure what "it" was...and of course he couldn't remember the next day. Another time I heard him singing, "Can't get enough of that Sugar Crisp!"

And for your viewing pleasure...some Halloween pics of Lena!

Hey kiddos!! Rainy and yucky here!

Took DH out for his birthday last night, had a really fabulous dinner!! Tried a new place on a whim and it paid off!!! They even had non-alcoholic drinks so I got me a fake mojito, very yummy! Really nice date night for us!!!

Tonya don't have any pics of my hair, only on my phone!!! But I am sure some will be taken this weekend!!! I debated it but since you had the courage to take the plunge and it looks fabulous I said why the heck not!!!

I can not believe Philly is this weekend! I am so excited to see so many of you but kind of bummed about all of those 30's who won't be there! DH and I were talking last night and I know traveling for races will be restricted to locals only in the next few years, kind of bums me out. But I am blessed to have an amazing group of 30's so close to me, they more than make up for it!

QOD: I grind my teeth. So bad that I wore my front 2 teeth down and had to get crowns put on them. I have also ended up with weeks of jaw pain from my grinding. I have been known to walk in my sleep, talk in my sleep, I used to flip around a lot. Before my belly started getting big I would only sleep on my stomach with my arms under my body. My arms would fall asleep so bad that they would be numb for days! My doc was always amazed by that!!

Ok folks, will check back in later!
Good morning all. I'm feeling lazy after a day off and don't want to go to work but it's probably for the best if I do.

Wish me luck, tonight I am going to attempt to call the girl I met Saturday night. We will see how it goes.
did my run last night and then went out for dinner with DH. I had some butternut squash tortellaci (sp). Oh.my.god. So very good. Went well with a bottle of white wine.

ok..what is the QOD???
Morning, all.

QoD: I am a very restless sleeper. It's not unusual at all for me to wake up 3-4 (or more) times a night. The funky thing is, apparently, I get rather irritated when I realize that I'm awake, and rather than "rolling" from one side to the other, to try to get more comfy, I somehow manage to quickly push my upper body with my arms, so that it is in the air. In mid-flight, (sort to speak), I flip my entire body in the new direction.

I'm sure it's quite comical to watch. I'm glad hubby and I have a king sized bed.. otherwise he might need to wear a helmet to avoid injury...
QoD I'm an active dreamer. Saturday night I was going to get attacked as I entered my car so I threw a big right cross and added an emphatic POW!!!!. Since we were at the cabin, my fist landed on the wall which provided a rude and painful awakening for me and my fist.

Ouch
Morning my Pretties,

I'm off to see a man about a horse.

doc: I'm still waiting on the mail.

Colleen: Love the Lena! She's got a great smile. Hey! Are we still meeting at the airport?

Maureen: Have you told your employer to go #$%#$& themselves yet?

Trevor: Bonjour!

so i'm starting to think about what I need to do to get all ready for the big weekend, and I realize that I've become quite the gadget girl. My list has plug in this, and charge up that way too many times. Not to mention, I've got to go buy me a whole slew of batteries.
Winter we should do that! We can share a cab downtown. What hotel did you say you were at? I'm at the Comfort Inn now.

As for things with batteries...just make sure you don't mind them coming out in public when they search your bag. "Woukd you turn this on, please?"
