Hi everyone. I did not get to read yesterdays post until really late so I decided to start Thursday's thread with my reply.

Beth - Glad to hear things went well for your dad.

Moe - They are going to start charging for C25k? that is ridiculous.

Jill - that was great. It pretty much sums up my childhood. I think children of the 80's sums us up nicely.

StartingOver - I agree with you on it being a little intimidating at first to post on a group that has people who run further then I drive to work each day. lol But one of the best things about the 30's is we celebrate each others successes, long runs, short runs, and anything else. My best distance to date is 3.1 miles. It took me almost 4 months to get there. I don't think I would have made it that far or still be running if it was not for the support of this group. Oh and congrats on the wonderful weight loss. Excellent!!!

Map - Yep I found the 30's the same way you did. count me as another living example.

Scratch - Well said about the journey of 1000 miles.

Moon - Congrats on you and your niece getting quoted.

HH - lol look for my posts. I do a pretty good summery according to the folks here. But McT's was a shorter more humorous version.

Litch/Mct - "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die. "

Oh Young Frankenstein is a great movie.

EQ and StartingOver - Thank you both for taking the time to answer the questionnaire.

DrChris - Good to see you back on the boards. Glad you are almost recovered.

Have a great day everyone.
