Says who???

My cold has morphed into asthma/wheezing/tightness. Not good. I'm using my scary inhaler to try to get the symptoms to calm down, and I'm picking up a homeopathic remedy today to see if I get this under control. I don't know what to do about my LR tomw--4 miles. We're also golfing 18 holes tomw. I might try to run on the TM in the morning, see how it goes, but walk it if need be. I *think* I can actually run 4...but not if my lungs aren't cooperating.

Good luck racers!!!!
Asthma isn't better (maybe worse). Plus I'm sneezing. F&ck.

Oh, and I just spent the last half hour washing Penny in de-skunk stuff. Double f&ck.

I got new golf shoes today. Spent more than I wanted, but they are nice. I also bought kick-ass black patent leather 4" platform slingbacks marked down to $36. Those make up for the wheezing and the skunking.

Congrats to all runners and racers this weekend...I don't think I'll be running tomw.
Mandy, can you buy a pair of cute dressy flats but wear a flip flop (and a big bandage) on the bad foot, thereby declaring your injury, but allowing for good footwear on one side? Maybe something like this:

or this:

I didn't run. I decided it wasn't in my lungs best interest. I will be calling the doc in tomw morning though. Bah.

At least Penny doesn't smell skunky...I did a good job washing her last night I guess.
Can I just say, how jealous I am of everyone's runs this weekend (yay! Dom and Prae!!!!!) esp now that i've gotten some of my running interest back, and how much it SUCKS that I couldn't run this weekend???? (I know, I could have, but trust me, I don't want this lung thing to stick around any longer than it needs to and I'm wary of running with it. Bronchial hyper responsiveness, as it's known, sucks gigantic weiners.

The golf tourney was fun. I was really really intimidated when we got to the country club (because frankly, my golfing experience is quite limited and I'm not a country club kinda gal), but I did ok and we had a good time. I can putt...who knew? And I hit a couple of nice drives and chipped a couple of shots well, so it was ok. We came in last though.
Uh, NO. I got these yesterday:

They're very golfy, but they were comfortable.
