Nice early start, Litch! I too am getting ready to hit the road and fight the humidity. Good thing I plan on going slow; today would not be a fun day to try for speed. I just finished eating something, so I'll take a little while to digest and then get going, hopefully before it gets too hot...

Good morning to the rest of the sleepyheads...

Oof. Just back from my run. Wow...

Tom, have fun on vacation! And good work getting out there for 16!

Litch, wow, what a morning! Did you tell your kids this story when you got back? If so, I guess you've just told them about the birds and the bees.

As for my run, I did successfully complete my 15-mile loop. (Well, 14.88). It wasn't terribly pleasant. Like everyone else, I ran thru humidity that could have been cut with a chainsaw. My clothes might have been made of wicking material, but they didn't wick enough. Everything was completely drenched very early on. In other words, I was sweating like at least 10 men...

Hey, I got a postcard in the mail from RoadrunnerSports telling that the Wave Rider 10 is being discontinued. Really, already? I'm still on my first pair of those. Have they already come out with WR 11s? Maybe I'm out of the loop on shoe news...

I need a cold bath and a quick nap before I help my mother-in-law set up for the baby shower. Later, folks...

Good morning to you all. I was soooooo exhausted last night, I fell asleep at about 9:30pm. And thus of course I woke up around 6:00am this morning. So be it. Today's the baby shower... I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing while it's going on, but I'll figure it out.

Have a great day, everyone...

Hey, all. Well, I survived the baby shower. I must say, we made out like bandits. I guess it's a good thing that Maggie has a fairly large family. I don't think we'll have to buy our daughter any clothes for a year. In fact, she might not even have to wear the same outfit twice!

Also, my mom gave Maggie the blanket and clothes that I came home from the hospital in. I can't believe my mom saved that stuff for all these years. It was a really great gift...

I spent the time hanging out with my dad and father-in-law, as well as some of Maggie's uncles and cousins whose wives were at the shower. Mostly it was a bunch of older guys talking to eachother in Portuguese. Kinda left me and my dad scratching our heads, but we survived...

Well, tomorrow is my deadline for accepting or rejecting the job offer I got. I've made up my mind to reject it, although I will be doing so with a little trepidation. I hope I'm doing the right thing...

Umm, I guess that's it. Too bad it's almost freakin' Monday again. Already. Ack.
