WInter Beautiful hair! Love it!

I got a haircut, too, and even took a photo of it Sat. when I first had it, but haven't had a chance to load it (camera batteries died right after I took it and I had to wait to charge them!) Will post later just for fun.

Nettie Congrats! Sounds like a great opportunity since they went to all that trouble. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Well, not all the time. It would be hard to type, you know.

Heather- looks like you're having fun! Say hi to the beach for me. I love it and haven't gone in several years.

Ok, I hope to wake up tomorrow for a few miles. Never got to do any today (got too hot and too late and I had to get to my 'rents for lunch.) I did get a free pair of Balega socks at Fleet Feet because they opened a new store! They have pink stripes. I'm sure they will make me run faster!

OK, night everyone! Back to the grind tomorrow. Ugh.

Congrats to our New Haven runners!!!! sounds like some solid times out there.

Great pics Heather!!

Doc Chris-beer is good...just that simple really

man went out for 10.5 this afternoon must have been 90 or better. wanted it to be very very east. intended to run 9:30-9:45/mile and instead my first 7 miles were at 9:07 average and then the heat hit me like a truck. final three all averaged 10+ as I had to stop and fill my strap-on three times and I still had it empty with the final .5 to go. I walked most of the final half mile when I ran out of water. finished the 10 miles with a 9:30 pace overall (1:35ish) ...survival mode for sure at the end

I need to figure out how to dial it back for an easy run. even when I know i should be running much slower, it is like I cannot get my legs to listen...very frustrating.

ETA Congrats to Nettie!!!

Congrats Nettie! Hope it turns into a permanent gig for you.

Winter, I say this with all due respect intended. You are one smokin' hot woman!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty decent. Got in a couple of very good, challenging runs. Saw a deer on Sunday's run. Washed and waxed the car today before going to a small cookout.

Very quiet other than that. Beautiful weather. Temps in the 60s and 70s with low humidity on Saturday and Sunday. Today was a bit warmer but still low humidity.

Congrats Nettie!
Great pic Winter
Long time no see SpaceDaisy -good to see you..
Doc I gotta side with Voo on public urination not being cosidered giving back to the community... unless of course you live in bear and/or wolf country.

Long weekend here, Squeezed in 3 miles on the road and 1k in the pool on Sat. Sunday, DW crashed her bike pretty bad in a 112Mi cycling race, so I've been on concussion patrol since then.
I did get some help last night so I could squeeze in 6mi., super tough run in the heat of the day, but I felt great afterwards, I love that. And I got someone to sit on DW and the kids this am so I could do the Waikiki Rough Water, 2.4 mi swim. I did terrible, ugh.. Looking forward to cranking out some miles this week.
