Mornin' folks.

Hope everyone who raced this weekend did well. With the site having been down, I didn't check for updates

Q'sOD (for those going to Philly):
Would some of you want to spend a few hours on one of the days to go to the Philadelphia Zoo (with someone who is a pretty slow museum/zoo visitor)?
What other stuff would you want to do?

Good morning HH and all who follow.

Well I am glad to see we are back up and running. I Wasn't online for long enough to post on Saturday and today (Sunday) when I tried to see how all our racers had down KR was down. Those hackers need to get a different hobby.

So Saturday I played in a charity poker game to benefit fallen police officers. I took 26th out of 200 players and won a 4-some of golf at a very nice Scottsdale club. I don't play golf.

I finished burning my swap cd tonight. I hope the person who gets it likes it. I am going to put it in the mail on Tuesday before work.

I hope our racers did well this weekend.

Scratch - sorry your run today did not go well. But you finished which considering how hot and humid it was that is an accomplisment.

Frankie - glad to hear you are doing alright after the surgery.

Jill - glad to hear you had a blast at the Doggie Dash. I wish I could run with my pup.

Crane - congrats on getting your art in a show.

Tiff - congrats on starting the c25k. It is a great program and it is what I used when I started running in April.

Bob - great pictures as usual.

Cactus - congrats on the 17 year anniversary.

EQ - have fun in Alaska and good luck at the race. I look forward to your report when you get home.

Moon - congrats on the OWS.

I actually finished witting this post about 2 hours ago. Then my home internet went down. Some days I really dislike our internet provider. But they are the only cable internet company in town so I am stuck with them.

I have my fingers crossed that this will actually post.

Hi all,

I'm all packed. I still have to go get my travelers checks and go to the bank, but other than that, I'm ready to go.

As for a run today, it's supposed to be a day off, but I'm not going to get a run in tomorrow. So I am planning on a very slow 5 mile slog later today, then use tomorrow as my recovery.

I'm going to have to alter Pfitz plan this week. On Wednesday I'm driving to Fairbanks, and when I get there I'm going to head over to Ester Dome (the mountain in the race), park the car at the top, then run down the mountain and then back up. It's about 7 miles. He calls for 7 with 2 at MP pace. Thursday, I'm going to do the out and back portion atop Ester Dome. It slowed me down 3 years ago because I had forgotten how hilly it was. It's about 4.4 miles. Friday, I'm not going to run at all, or if I do it's going to be 2 very slow, very easy miles. Friday night I have the spaghetti feed with the folks from Running Club North. Then Saturday, there's this little 10K with a 20 mile warmup that I have to do with 450 of my best friends!

I know you all have your fingers crossed for me. If you remember, please think of me Saturday, and send any positive thoughts/prayers for a good, safe race towards Fairbanks.

Hi everyone... I'm in work hell... ugh... so I've been absentee most of the weekend - sorry to hear we were hacked...

Running wise - managed a decent 14 miler on Saturday and 3.25 last night with the doggy... I got a bug in my eye last night, and now my eye is still killing me. If it hurts tomorrow I'll call the eye doc.

Hi People, can I come out and play here too? I have watched you for a while but had to wait to be activated. I'm almost 30, does that count?

Can someone explain what the hell has been going on with the site? Is this something that goes on a lot? And do you always post what you ran for the day in here? You seem like a fun bunch, I can't wait to get to know you better.

Hey sun! Sure, everyone is welcome here. Just recently the site seems to be getting hacked about once a week. Not quite sure why and I don't know when it might end. I am also almost 30.

Oh, and we do sometimes post what we ran and sometimes not. Do whatever you like.
