Ok Ive been thinking about this for some time. It probable came to mind more so after the meetups I attended last year.<br><br>
What would you all think about a cruise ( possibly Carribean? ) either next year or the following. As much fun as the meetup/races are, I thought maybe a cruise would be that much better. No worries about arranging meetups at expos, arranging pasta dinners and post race gatherings etc. Just a huge group of friends and family catching come rays, traveling to some exotic locales, and in general just having a blast.<br><br>
I figured if I threw it out there now it would give us plenty of time to decide a. if in fact there was interest, b. who would be going and c. were would be going. That and early booking is always good <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>

There's a cruise package I recently read about that includes running races at several ports of call, along the way. Timing chips, bibs, the whole nine yards. Will try to dig up the info

Depending on time of year, etc. this sounds really great! I loved the one and only cruise I've been on, and knowing running people on board has got to be much more fun than making sure my parents aren't falling overboard!<br><br>

Thanks, <b>BigG</b>. Not having kids, I don't know what's worse on vacation, kids or parents, but it'll be pretty close in my family.<br><br>
ETA: Ok, I just looked at the years again, and it's 2006. Ooops. Still, with the academic calendar, I have tons of flexibility, except for about 8 months of the year.

Were you planning on leaving the Mrs. at home? Notice in my original post I said <i>family</i>. Meaning wife, kids ( if you choose ) etc.
