Mornin' Jen.
Just fed and changed Paige (started at 4:30 AM). Now I'm out the door to work.
Hope you all have a great day. I'm exhausted.
Here's a sleepy pumpkin for you all.
Ciao

I'm still confused by 2 threads. Too much for me to keep up with (I'm having some whine with my cheese).
Morning,

Keep your fingers crossed. I find out the number on the car today. There may still be hope (even though my former roomie ditched me already! Anyone wanna share a room?? $50/night! Seriously.....) Didn't end up running due to all the fun. I am going to try to run after work, but it depends on when the car is ready as I'll have to get a ride over there, and I can't really say "can you just wait right here while I run 4 miles??"
I hear this as a command, in a german accent (like that woman in the Austin Powers! )

2oh!! Oooh my! Sleeping babies! She's beautiful!!!! If you lived closer, I'd be volunteering to babysit!
morning peeps!

I don't know why I thought of this but I have a QOD:

Do you have food-related memories? Meaning do meals, particular dishes, unusual snacks stick out in your mind as a place and time? Best ones? Worst ones?

Gotta boogie...I'll check in later.
Good luck today, Beth!

QOD: Yes, my food-related memory is being forced to eat meatloaf that I wanted to puke back up! God! I still hate it!!
Got some good sleep in last night, well I did wake up from one awful dream, but went back to sleep and slept pretty solid til a little after 6.

Still, I never like the adjustment after the clocks turn back, it's a bit daunting to get out of work and see the sun is going to be setting real soon.
No school, no run for me today.

Spending the day with Hank and my pop. More fun that people should be allowed to have, I'm tellin' ya.

Eating strawberry thick and creamy (hi scratch).

QOD: oh yeah. pizza on payday, strawberry ruhbarb pie and Grandma Price's, those ghetto oatmeal cookies with frosting on top out of my Grandad's cookie jar (we ate a lot at the Price's). My mom packing giant ass lunches so i could share with my boy Chuck (brother in portland) who's home life sucked. Coffee....
i relate well to food.
if i love you, i feed you.
Morning gang

Definatley not the way Im wanting to start the day, im heading to the dentist. Just the usual cleaning but its not my favorite way to start off the day

Theia hope you are feeling better today!

QOD We were just talking about this not too long ago at the 'rents house. My mom used to try to pull fast ones on us to get us to try things when we were younger. Two that stick out are liver and calamari. Mom told us liver was steak to get us to try it. Well I cant stand the way my dad makes steak so the idea of trying another type of steak didnt sit well. I tried it, it sucked. First time I tried calamari, it was fried. Try the onion rings honey. "Mom, why are they so chewy?" I still eat calamari but wont touch liver.

Thankfully my wife and I dont try that with out kids.

2oh thanks for sharing the pic of Paige, shes a beauty!
Love the pic 2oh

QOD tuna noodle casserole every Tuesday, tuna on toast on Thursdays every single week while growing up. I have never made either of those for my kids. I can't stand the smell of tuna fish.

The weather on my drive in to work this morning......snow, freezing rain, and then rain. Great day for driving.
I've eaten so much yogurt this year. It's good.

I had some Stonyfield chocolate something over the weekend. It was kind of indulgent. I figured I had earned some indulgence after popping out 13.1 miles.
Morning everyone!

DD2 is home with a slight fever today. She already seems to be on an upswing, so it should be a busy day for me!

QOD My grandmother used to make a cake that tasted just like a twinkie. We would only get to have it in the summer when we would go visit her in Maine. Mmmmmmm...

Have a great day everyone!
Home with a sick DS, which is not fun at all. Not sure what this means for my working out today.

QOD: I could make a list as long as my arm of my mother's horrible cooking when I was growing up. Some highlights---grilled cheese sandwiches where the outside was burnt but the cheese hadn't even melted on the inside. Cambell's tomato soup which she made with half a can of milk (rather than a full can of water or milk) so it was so thick you could stand a spoon in it---I still cannot eat tomato soups to this day. "Chinese" pepper steak, which was just really tough steak fried with peppers and a shitload of soy sauce.

Ugh. She has pretty much improved her cooking skills, which is nice. Unless you count the turkey dinner from Xmas 10 years ago when we all got food poisoning...
At work today, but I got sick again this morning. And no, it's not what you think. (I wish.)

Great pic, 2oh!!

QOD Lots of food-related memories from family gatherings, holidays, special occasions, etc. Too many to name.
Morning My Pretties,

How's it hanging?

Yea, me too.

QOD: Tortiere (french canadian meatpie) is Christmas. Rye and Gingerale is my parents house on a Friday night. Pink Popcorn is the Montreal Forum. A Smoke Meat sammich and Strawberry Cheesecake are Montreal. Bottle Caps are my childhood. And any kind of fish in sauce is my Catholicism.
