So my wife asked me yesterday if I have having an affair with anyone here. It was 99% joking. I guess some of her friends have been questioning her about me travelling to Philly to meet up with a bunch of wackos from the Internet.

Gonna grab some breakfast and head to work. Not sure what's going on tonight- I'll just have to find out as I go.

My DH has the same sort of conspiracy theory going on!!! I am sure he wil be eye balling some people in Philly!!! JK!! He is actually excited for Philly too. He has met quite a few people from the board and I think that made him understand a bit more why I like you all so much!!!

Last night I overheard a conversation between my sons. DS#1 was telling the younger that it was unacceptable to get a "b" on his report card. He can do better, blah blah blah. Which is good, that means my nagging and pushing is getting through their little concrete heads. Ha ha, guess who just received a "b" on his report card? DS#1's teachers email grades to parents, so I get a sneak peek as to what is on the report card. I can hardly wait for DS#2 to find out.

Well, we did almost end up getting hugged together yesterday.

She has been invited every time I have met anyone here (which is not much - last spring in NJ and the Lake Compounce HM), and passed. Lake Compounce woulda been cool because of the kids in the amusment park, but she decided not to.

Heard Mr. Richter on the Rangers broadcast last night talking about the marathon. Could not say how amazed he was by 'regular folks' who have jobs\families\etc. who trained for the marathon. And how lucky he was to be a part of it, when his schedule is much easier to juggle for training.

(He is retired, but is a full time student - at Yale. That's right Theia, smart, wealthy, modest....)

Regarding celebrities an marathoners - I kind of agree with Maureen regarding Katie Holmes - I am sure she was not the only one who signed up on a whim, did not train right, and muddled though it.

I saw him posting about BBC in the PRT, and I picked up their Octoberfest. Possibly the best tasting beer I have ever had. Was less impressed by their black and tan.
