Hey there, I've been up some time now. So good morning and happy Friday, get up and at'em, I've already done 16 chin ups with 13 extra kgs on my back.

Keep on rockin'.

You know it's kinda funny Friday always seemed so big...

Up and at'em.

An early bird and a night owl, eh?

Yup, glad it's Friday. As usual, looking forward to the weekend.

I like how things are going in the AL playoffs so far. Sox won easily, and Yanks lost big. Of course it's only one game, so those series are far from over.

Having a 2-0 lead, that may be another story. DBacks and Rockies look like they'll meet in the NLCS. One of those teams going to the World Series won't help the ratings on Fox. Anyway, the Phillies definitely appear to be in trouble. They've been saying that there have been 21 times when a team lost the first two games of a best-of-five series at home, and 20 times they went on to lose. Only the Yankees in 2001 (against the A's) were able to come back. That was the series where Jeter made that backhanded flip to nail the non-sliding Jeremy Giambi at the plate. 1 out of 21 means the Phillies face long odds indeed....

Who's racing this weekend? Me, I'll try again for 18-20 miles. Last weekend it didn't work out so well, so I'll give it another shot. We shall see...

Well, enjoy the Friday, everybody...

morning!

Got up at the ridiculous hour of 4:45 to get to the gym when it opens at 5am. Did a short run this morning, 'cause I'm not sure I'll get it in later. I'm actually more awake now than I am on the mornings I get up 45 mins later... and I feel energized... hmm...

Want to wish Maria huge good luck vibes for this weekend. Also wishing speedy, solid legs to winter and ALL our racers this weekend!

Gotta run - I got interrupted while posting and now the kids are here! AGH!

Good morning gang...

Not too much going on here. Rainy. Blah. Hrmph...

Worked out at the gym last night; solid upper body workout. I was doing some flys and looking at myself in the mirror and thought "Whose arms are those?!?" I've been adding protien to my diet with soy powder in a smoothie (yummy...) and I'm wondering if that's part of it. Whatever...I'll take it! Also got a really east run in on the 'mill...only 1.5 miles, but with all the layoff over the summer, it felt really good regardless.

Gotta get ready for work. Good luck to all the racers this weekend, especially Winter and Maria!!! You guys will rock the house...

Later taters!

Hey kiddos!!! My poor Phils, falling apart at the seams!!!

So my tri class was rough last night!!! But I felt so good after! Toughest workout I have had in a while!!!

LL you forgot one very important piece of info about the Eagles cheerleaders unifroms. They were designed by Vera Wang!!! Iknow this because the 80 year old man who sits behind me told me. His wife says he uses that as justification to stare, not at the girls but at the fine couture!!!

I have saved up good vibes all week and they are going out ot our weekend racers!!! Maria, Winter, Korbs, who else?!

So I have some other news for you. I will not be running the half in Philly. I will be there (and will help HH pick you all out for pics at the finish line). But I won't be able to run. I have a good reason though, I promise!!! On race day I will be about 5 months pregnant!!!!!!!! Yep, mid April I will enter the world of sleepless nights, dirty diapers, and runs that happen...whenever!!! I know it is going to kill me to not be able to run with you all but DH and I are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first!!! And at least it is a local race so I can be there to support you all!!!

Ok, so that is it for now. I think that is enough!!!

LORI - CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF YOU!!! WOOHOO!!!

I tried that Vera Wang angle with DW when I wanted to get the calendar. No dice.

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend - Maria and sis in Chicago, Dom & PC in TCM, Baggio in milwaukee, Winter somewhere in the great northern hinterland, KP & Tonya... missing anyone?

Brief summary: crap x (run, morning in general, almost missing train, up at the same time as solar, running around like an idiot). ugh.

Marion Jones? Let me just say that I am shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here! Everyone out at once!

Congratulations Lori!!

Good morning! Just a normal day for me today. No students, but more work on that one project. The part I thought I could hand off turns out I'll need to do anyway. Not a big deal actually, just some data entry.

Roo, I saw this in my OSUToday email. Thought of you and Hank.

Good morning, folks.

First and foremost, GRATS to Beaker! Woohoo!

Also, Godspeed to all of our weekend racers!

Hopped on the TM last night. Planned on 2 miles total, with trying my 1/4 mile run (with the rest being walked), using the same shoes, sock style, and ankle brace that seemed to be a successful combination before. I ended up with 2.5 total with .50 run! The ankle felt 'used' after it was all said and done, but not "used and abused" at least. I "may" try it again tonight, though I may take a rest day. I haven't decided yet.

Okies.. time to get a little bit of work done. I'll check back in a little while.

Congratulations Lori!! I'm glad you'll still be able to come out and be a cheerleader, though! Looking forward to meeting you.

Morning!

I'm up.. early-ish for a day off. My eye appt. is at 10 am so I woke up naturally just in anticipation. Plus, my bedroom windows are open and I listened to every (slam their car doors and) leave this morning from the parking lot for the past 2+ hours... Odd thing, is that I had a dream about a baby last night.. maybe I secretly knew about Lori!

I hope my eyes aren't dialated today so I can run when I get back from the dr. Looking forward to being able to run during the day! Plus I have a million errands to do around here today!

Greek fest was lots of fun last night. Baklava was just amazing. I ate the whole thing, too! We saw a great Zorba the Greek show, too. The inside of the church is also really beautiful (traditional orthodox images in tiles on the walls/ceiling). Definitely a "wow" view no matter what your beliefs (I'm not Greek Orthodox!)

Hi Ann!

Good luck to the weekend racers!!! A special good luck to Winter on her very first HM. You're gonna rock it with all the speed you've been gaining lately! Does this mean you won't be on Friday night chat?

Ok, gonna get breakfast going. Be back later!
