I hope to do a 5K race tomorrow, although if the weather is really crappy there's another local 5K that can be done on Sunday.<br><br>
It was one of those morning when if you were just waking up now and looked outside, you might just want to dive back under the covers and curl up in a warm ball.

Morning! Happy birthday to <b>Beaker</b>, huge luck to <b>Grand Rapids folks</b>, a big thank you to the <b>Red Sox</b> for winning last night, and a humongous welcome to Cincinnati to my beloved <b>Steelers</b> as they come to town for the annual Bungle Beatdown! I'm blazing my Steeler colors today - subtle, professional, understated, but visible...I dare any Bengal fan to start talking smack! Actually it's been a little quiet around here - I haven't heard much in the way of smack talk since the Bengals are playing so poorly this year. Kinda takes the fun out of Steeler week - the best part is the collective shutting of the pieholes on Sunday around 3:30!<br><br>
Eldest daughter lost another top tooth last night - her mouth looks like an old picket fence with several slats missing. This means, after getting to bed late after the Red Sox game last night, I had the pleasure of being awakened at 4am by hearing my daughter read the note the Tooth Fairy left for her - <b>PacerChris</b> is a little groggy this morning!<br><br>

They should have them at the Clif Bar booth - Clif is a pretty big sponsor at Marine Corps and last year they had a good sized booth with all kinds of goodies. Ask if they have any Z bars behind the booth - your kids will love them!<br><br>
Totally forgot Marine Corps was this weekend - like I said, GROGGY! In addition to you and the pace team, I know a few other folks running there. When I checked the weather the other day it looked pretty good - I hope the winds aren't like they were last year, particularly at Hains Point! Everyone complains about HP being boring, but it's actually one of my favorite parts of the course. You're not totally beat yet, it's flat, pretty scenery with the Potomac and the park/golf course, the Awakening sculpture is interesting. No spectators but you'll have enough of those leaving HP and going to Crystal City so enjoy the calm before the storm!
