And I can finally call myself a runner again (I think). Well, more of a wogger at this point, but it's a start.<br><br>
Did lots of stretching, then intervals of 2 min run/1 min walk for a mile, then more stretching, then a mile back, then more stretching. Hamstrings are tired of all the stretching and massaging, but knees seem happy. Will know for sure tomorrow, as the pain has always been a day behind for some reason.<br><br>
Sure felt good to run, though. You forget after a while...

Welcome back Matt!<br><br>
Was wondering where you were, thought tax season actually started, didn't know it took you one day for the 2 miles run. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
Just take it easy and build up slowly.

One good thing about being married (almost) 12 years is that there's not much pressure on Valentine's Day anymore. Finally.

Yeah. We're so romantic that we each ordered something for ourselves and then told each other what we got. Going on 9 years for us.

We'll have 9 years this year. For me it was... her: "What do you want for V-Day" "Er... an aero helmet?" "OK, buy yourself one". I bought it. She's like "cuuute, red the way I would've got it". It's still unused, maybe I sould wear it to dinner tomorrow.

My wife and I are so romantic. She told me today," I didn't get you anything, so save your money and don't get me anything either."<br><br><br>

Stupidity with an aggravating factor of stubbornness.<br><br>
I'm not calling it a comeback until I can hammer the bike for an hour and run hard for a couple miles right after. That's where I was before this all started.

Not expecting to get any, I see. <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"><br><br>
Unless your DW is a rare breed who thinks aero helmets are SEXY.

and now we're back to matt's knees.<br>
Where the heck is LRR? I'm expecting a quote about throwing out your knees w/o presents or romantic dinners on Valentine's day. <img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif">

That sounds exactly like us. Whatever new thing we need to buy, just consider it a gift of the nearest holiday. We're calling my trainer our Valentine's Day gift.<br><br>
Glad you are back, Matt!!
