Afternoon all,

Perfect weather for St Paddy's 8K race this morning. I ran 8 very easy miles before the race. No real goal for the race especially with the run before the race, but when gun went off, I found a nice pace (7:30/mle) and stuck with it. Ended up finishing 2nd in AG with a PR (by 2 seconds). This was the final race in the OKC Running Club Triple Crown Series. Having finished 1stAG in the Deer Creek Classic 10K 2 weeks ago, finishing 7thAG in the Jack Rector 25K last weekend, and with the 2nd place finish in this weekends St Paddy's 8k; I won the Championship Trophy (1st) for my AG. I was quite suprised to win and ended up with a nice trophy. Also, the green beer at the finish festivities was nice too.

Have a great weekend.
