and "meetings" for several folks.... ~~~~~

My fun is also a work thing. I leave tomorrow for Washington DC for a conference. But I won't mention that I'm going a day early and letting my company pay for it. Nope, not saying a word. So you don't either... 'k?

Enjoy your Buzziness trip, Tonya!

Runninlaw: The world is your oyster! unless, of course, you don't like oysters...The world is your cracker jack's box! (it had to have a prize inside, otherwise, it's just food.)

Me: writing a procedure manual. wooohooo....not.

QOD: Peanut vs plain M&Ms? discuss!

Morning all

I'm going to repeat myself. WINTER you make me smile and not in the "nod and smile way" either. I just think you're fantastically funny

QOD does it just have to be regular or peanut or can we add in peanut butter or pretzel? I'm more of a peanut butter gal but if I have to choose between the 2 I'm going to say plain.

So they have my reference list and I will find out sometime today if I get an interview.

I'm eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch with out milk. I'd really like milk but the cafe upstairs doesn't have any milk. I'm really thirsty.

Definitely peanut! There's not enough to sink your teeth into with the plain.

Safe travels, Tonya.

It's only 8 am and I want a nap already. I keep waking up multiple times in the middle of the night, and while I always fall back to sleep, it's still screwing with my head.

Hee hee - I love oysters! Unfortunately, I can't get them in Wisconsin. Hmmm, maybe I need to plan a vacation - now, that would be fun!!

QOD: Peanut, hands down. Although I won't turn down plain if offered. :D

Sorry to hear about all of the sucky sleep. I had 2 bad nights in a row of sleep, but did well last night.

Today is a Friday for my boys as they have no school Thursday or Friday. Then my FIL - who the boys and I have not seen in 3.5 years after he walked out on MIL (and the rest of his family) is coming on Saturday and Sunday. I am nervous and sick about it, but glad he is finally making an effort to reconnect in some way. Interestingly, DS#2 was all kinds of concerned about divorce last night - asking which of us (me or DH) would "want" him if we divorced and whether he'd have to be separated from his brother. Extra hugs and assurances were in order.

Rant: I have been running my butt off over the last several weeks and have even added biking in. I have cut way back on wine/beer intake and have been watching what I have been eating. Yet I weigh more than ever! WTH?!? I am very, very frustrated. My pants are a little too big and I don't look like I have gained weight, but I am very frustrated. By now, I should be at a normal (lower) mid-training weight. Not sure what else to do.

Morning. Heading out soon for my rescheduled massage appt. Fun in theory, but he's typically brings me to tears a few times. Worth it when it's finished, for sure!

QOD: Peanut first, then plain. Both are denied if Resse's Pieces are available instead.

~~~Jobby job~~~ take em if you need em
Yeah, Prae!
Have fun Dr. T!
Ok, off to check on the fit thread now.   Happy Wednesday all!
morning peeps.
I'm tired and today's going to be another long day.  I don't have plans tonight, but I suspect I might be at work until at least 7 if not later.  I'd forgotten I had a dentist appt this morning, so I couldn't come in early...i was in on time, just not early.
Did I mention I'm going on vacation tomw?  I've been so busy I haven't even had time to really think about it.  I still have to do laundry, pick out what to bring, pack, clean up my spare room for my friend who is cat sitting...never mind I want to get a pedi before I go.  Sigh.
Remind me that once I'm there, it'll all be easy...
I went to see the live action short film Oscar nominees last night.  They were all great!  I really enjoyed them.  Quite unusually, I've seen 3 of the Best Film noms and now the short film noms.
Michelle, here's hoping!
Prae, I still say that's AWESOME.  Plus you look great on camera.
Kath, it's just a testament to your abilities they are giving you such a big project.
((((((((((RIL)))))))))  I've had similar situations with my BiL and it's very very hard.  I'll be thinking of you.
Hello everyone else.
I feel your pain.  I've run 17 marathons in the last 6 years and logged about 8,200 miles in that time, yet I weigh a couple pounds more than when I started.  I am also quite frustrated...
QOD:  plain...but I don't really like M&Ms all that much in general.  [/ducks]
Good morning gang
Kinda quiet around this place, were is everybody at? Not much to report on this end. Just slogging along through the day. Planning on going out for a walk at lunch as I didnt drag my butt out of bed this morning for a ride or run.
Sorry to hear about those of you with sleeping issues. Been there, dont that, its not much fun. Hopefully they will resolve themselves soon.
QOD Peanut without a doubt but I wont turn down plain. Havent tried the pretzel or peanut butter type yet.
Hi all, it's been a busy day with students here.  My afternoon students are all applying for graduation, so that's pretty routine at least.  My mind is also in California, where Moonie's grandma's funeral mass is in progress.
QOD-  I prefer peanut but plain and PB are good too.   I particularly love the dark chocolate ones.  The pretzel ones are just ok, and I'm scared to try the coconut ones.  Those just seem wrong.
How'd it go? How'd it go? How'd it go?
Hi all, just got back from my grandma's Mass and burial services - that's always tough, but seeing family and friends afterward is always comforting.  I didn't even realize until last night's slideshow  that my grandparents passed from this world roughly five years apart.  Time flies indeed.
Good luck with the in-law foray, Mindi
Wippy!  How'd it go?
Hope you have a great time down in Mexico, Maria!
QOD:  Peanut, though I can take some plain ones no prob.  Like to try some almond and pretzel ones sometime; coconut ones were meh. Would like to compare the PB ones to Reeses Pieces sometime as well.
Mmmmmm. Peanut butter.
(((((Moonie))))))
Maureen - I guess, but..... still.
In the process of loading a bisq kiln. I can't imagine how much my back would hurt if I was using the full depth.
QOD: I haven't eaten them in about 8 years. They're both ok, but I liked other candy better.
