<p>Happy 2-22 TUESDAY!!!  We got more ice and snow last night, I'm super excited for spring to come.  I just can't handle the icey weather anymore. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>couldn't sleep last night my eye is still twitching and my tyelnol is at work so here I am at work. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I have another "conference call" this afternoon to ask a few more questions and to set up a time for a "meeting"  I may just call the guy this morning to get it over with.  I'm not good at waiting. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>So far I know that it's a company that I'm actually interested in working at in a position that's the next level up of what I do now and it pays better.  The company has gotten some multi million/billion gvt contracts lately so I'd be coming in on the ground floor of that section of the company. </p>

<p>New alarm protocol did not work this morning as I just stayed in bed and listened to my alarm until it shut off and then stayed in bed for another hour.  oops.  I'll try again tomorrow.</p>

<p>I may be on tv again today (and don't worry, I won't inundate you guys with links).  The guy in the News Bureau loves me and since there's so much going on in the Middle East, there are quite a few media requests.  Since it's not a teaching day and I'm spending the day at the library working on a research paper, I'm taking my makeup with me.  I somewhat resent having to worry about my hair this morning, but I guess people who go to an office every day have to look nice every day and I shouldn't be such a brat.  But I am a brat. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"></p>

<p>Morning all!  Sipping on as much coffee as I can jam down my pie hole, not b/c I didn't sleep well - in fact I slept better than I have in awhile but b/c it's so damn cold outside, again.   I've been OK with winter thus far but this past weekend's redonkulous winds and dropping temps + today's frigid conditions are making me feel so over it. </p>

<p>Fun:  we're flying to Mexico tomorrow morning!!!   Friends are getting married on Friday, cannot wait!!</p>

<p>Hi all - kind of a long day yesterday, and probably going to be something of a longish week.  Flew out early in the morning yesterday and got to SF without incident (lots of snow on the hills - a nice surprise.) </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Drove back and dropped off my car to be serviced, went to the funeral home for the viewing of my grandma and helping out with other random assorted things.  After I got back, I unpacked, ironed some clothes out, and made sure my suit was in good working order.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Today is work followed by the vigil service, and then tomorrow will be the actual memorial Mass and burial.  Also going to try to squeeze in all the routine and not-so-routine medical tests and stuff ordered up by the doc during my annual.</p>

<p>Thanks for all the good wishes for my grandpa.  He came home from the hospital yesterday, which I am certain he is happy about.  He hated being in the hospital and rehab all those weeks last year.  He's physically pretty weak at the moment, but still mentally ok per my mom.  The next few days will show whether the weakness is a permanent thing or just related to the low O2 and meds from the pneumonia, etc.</p>

<p>Took yesterday off to be home with the kids ( and wound up wathcing my PITA niece ) Just hung out and took it easy. Signed up Tyler for spring soccer and will sign myself up to coach his team. Spent some time last night perusing some race sites looking at different halfs to consider in the future. Kinda have my eye on Grand Rapids in October but only time and moeny will tell on that one. Otherwise I have a half that Im going to run here in town in December. A family friend saw that my Houston finish time was within 2 minutes of his RnRAZ time and now wants to run a half with me. I didnt have the heart to tell him I alternated running and walking Houston and that if I actualy trained id be about 20 minutes faster lol.</p>
