Hi KS! Hi TW!

In contrast.... it was -13°C when I left for the gym this morning. It's supposed to hit a high of +12 on Friday. Maybe I'll even run in capris!!

No run for me today, just a short spin w/u and 45 minutes of core/abs/hips etc. to keep the machine well oiled and working properly.

Good running, everybody!!!

No run to report yet because that will be after work. In the meantime, I finally went in to see the sports doc about my elbow and arm pain. In my left arm (I'm right-handed) I have lateral and medial epicondylitis. Do not use Google or any other search. Let's just see who knows what that means! I know we have a couple of doctors who post here from time to time. I should add I was quite relieved to see the X-ray and to find out it isn't a stress fracture. It's been bothering me long enough it would show up.

I thought you would cheat and look it up at some book in the drug store. I have golfer's elbow and tennis elbow. I just iced the medial/golfer's sitting here at my desk and it helped!

Hi all....after no rain here in the last 5 weeks (most unusual for Oregon in the winter), 3.5 inches in the Johnny rain gauge in the past 24 hrs, leading to 5.5 rainy, muddy, windy miles in the woods earlier today. 1st creek x-ing is now a class 3 rapid, 2nd is thigh deep. Just the way I like it.

Opie, I was going to guess it was tennis elbow; hadn't really heard of golfer's elbow before. At least it's not nursemaid's elbow!

Recovery day today from yesterday's PT adjustments, so it was only the elliptical. And tomorrow will be a recovery day as well, from today's deep tissue massage. Currently I'm having my recovery whole wheat broccoli pizza and recovery Sam Adams, so if nothing else, I plan on sleeping well tonight. :)

OM, you had to mention Sam Adams, didn't you? I just ran out of those Sunday and it sounds really good right now. We went from snow to singlet weather! Yes, I really wore a singlet.
