<p>I've taken the gloves off, but the coat and scarf remain.  And I moved one space heater directly under my desk to thaw out my feet.  Ugh.</p>

<p>I have a feeling she had a physical issue that caused the funny voice.  But I just loved her.  And she embraced the change.  Good for her!</p>

<p>I thought so at first too, but toward the end she said something about maybe being able to lose the baby voice or something.   But you're right; she had a great attitude about it, and she really was stunning at the end.  I love that show.  Did you see the one with the Texas bombshell who totally wasted the $5,000?  She went right back to her old clothes and hairstyle as soon as she got home.  I was so pissed at her!</p>

<p><strong>Kathleen</strong>, a heating pad is a great idea.  Space heaters are totally contraband in my office too, but since I have no other option everyone kinda looks the other way....    I also have no a/c all summer.  Last year (my first year here) I wore tank tops and skirts all summer.  By lunchtime every day, sweat was dripping down my back, so I refused to wear anything nice (read: dry clean only). </p>
