Bagged trying to run yesterday, did 45 minutes on the exercise bike while watching football on the TV. Even with football on, the bike is boring.

Also did 106 pull ups and 182 push ups spread out during the day.

Rest day today.

I never went outdoors yesterday. Was a good day for that.

Today will be another long TM run. I did 11 on the TM last Monday, and I think today will be the same tempo run. An hour and a half on the treadmill... ugh...

Hour run on the tm for me tonight. I didn't have the motivation for it yesterday. I did finish OHR on Friday, I completed the 2 shorter runs during the week.

Easy 5 on the TM this morning. Kiddies on a delay for school. So last Thursday was a snow day, Friday was a delay, and today is a delay. Tough life....

'fore I forget, just want to say to 2oh that if you start doing grease the monkey style, you might get people thinking you're some sort of push up addict. But it's only addiction if you try to hide it from them. If you're out in the open, doing push ups in the public square, view and eye, it'll be beautiful and liberating. Yeah.

shhhh...I might actually get to run today...

Went to the gym last night and did my upper body weights plus about 50% of my ab workout and all of my lunges. Then I started to cough up a storm so I went home. I am feeling a lot better though. Yeah!

Cross training this evening. Oh and I will begin my push up routine starting today. I will either do a little research on the net for programs or just wing it and try something on my own.

No run for me yesterday. The storm was crazy out there. We've got a wack of snow down now. All this snow means I may actually get to use my cross country skis this year.

I did get some new running clothes on the weekend and I can't wait to try them out. Thermal tights (which look horrid on me...eeek) and a new jacket (which looks great...so it should balance things out...hee hee!). Also a pair of windproof gloves.

I posted a separate thread in the appropriate forum, but can anyone help me retrieve my CR training log??? I am so frustrated! I never switched over because assurances were made that the logs would still be (a) free and (b) accessible. Um, not so much. I am basically freaking out.

Anyway.

4 miles and some extra cardio on Friday, 9 miles on Saturday, lots of walking all weekend. NYC was fun! And cold. But lots of fun!

I feel squishy. I didn't lift at all last week. I did lots of pushups, lunges, and dips one of my classes Wednesday, but that was it. Bleh.

Good Morning!

It's finally not hot here, a nice 55 degrees for my run this morning. It was nice not to be overheated during a run, it's been a loooooong time. Alas, it'll be back in the 80's in a couple of days.

Today marks the first day of training for Boston...oh, boy here I go again--didn't I just do this? Anyway, a recovery 6 miles in 53 minutes this morning. Felt really good, but I was a little sore around my hips (?) from the TM incline/decline work yesterday. I'm sure that'll be gone by this afternoon.

Hope everyone has great runs and relaxing rest days today!
