Morning,

I need to run. Really badly. I haven't in over 2 weeks now. Funny thing that makes me really want to run? It's like Pavlov.... I got this neato thing installed on my car radio that lets me play my ipod. Well, listening to my running music really made me want to go run! It's very nice weather, so as long as I'm not completely exhausted tonight, I should be able to get out there for something. It's my only free day this week, so I should take advantage....

Heather, I hope you feel better. I had Thai food this weekend, too!

Later peeps.

Morning All,

Scheduled rest day today, so I probably won't run...that changes sometimes. I'm sure something will happen, either a little EZ run, some bad tennis or a bike ride.

maccabeth, I hope you get out for a run; never waste the good weather!

Hi all - may try to get out and run today; who knows...

Interesting what Ramsey reported from yesterday re: the chip issue - are those the same chips they used at Philly & Vegas? Wonder if they have any more races with which they're planning to continue the experiment...

I'm going to do 4-5 easy miles tonight, in the 'hood - and I'll get to enjoy more Christmas lights.

I was watching a special on Christmas Lights on TLC yesterday - and they featured Richmond, VA. One of the houses they featured is in the next neighborhood over from me. Unfortunately it's not a safe neighborhood to run in at night - not from a crime standpoint, but all of the roads are very narrow, and they get lots of "tourists" coming by to see that house. The road that interconnects our neighborhoods is also not the safest road to run on at night (twisty, no shoulder, not much light)... so I'll stick to the only 'semi' tacky houses in my 'hood

I only had one run this weekend of 8.25 miles. Maybe that's a good thing, since I didn't give myself much rest after Philly. My schedule calls for an 11-mile tempo run tonight. And I'm thinking I may do it on the TM. I think my longest TM run so far is 10. So this could be a new PR for me, in a way. We'll see if I make it...

Heather - take care of the tummy. I can run with a fever, headache, etc., but a bad stomach is a deal breaker for me.

Congrats Colleen!!!! Brag a little. Do you have another goal to work toward?

4 sleazy recovery miles today after my 11 miles yesterday. Had to get up early to salt my driveway (kiddies are on a delayed open for school). I ran at a slightly quicker pace from my easy\recovery runs from last week, and my HR was about 10-15 bpm lower. Woot.

Off to caffienate and catch up on the weekend threads.
