One station we listen to does 24-hour Christmas music, all the way from Thanksgiving thru Christmas Day. I don't mind it too much, but it does get to be a little bit of overkill. Does it really have to start so early?

Here's one thing I always snicker at in regards to Christmas music: Much of what is considered "Christmas" music really has nothing to do with Christmas. Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, Frosty The Snowman, Jingle Bells... none of these songs mention Christmas at all. I don't know, but I'd guess that 1/3 of what people consider to be "traditional Christmas songs" are really just "Winter songs". Christmas occurs on the 4th day of Winter, yet nobody plays these songs after Christmas. Shouldn't we be hearing Winter Wonderland until the middle of March? Heh.
