The weather man just said it's the warmest Thanksgiving we've had in ten years. It's 50 degrees right now at 6:20 AM. Nuts.

This is the first chance I've had to get online since I got home from Philly. I'm so glad I went, but it totally wore me out. I keep underestimating this growing a human thing!

Anyway, just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I'll try to catch up later in the weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving 30s!

We're of to CT for the holiday (yey I get to spend more time on 84, Heater!); we'll be back tomw afternoon. Right now I'm making squash to bring with us. I wanted to roast it, but I was given a look, so it's gonna be mashed. I'm not making it sweet though. Screw'em.

I hope everyone who is celebrating has a lovely one with family and friends.

I haven't read the thread in days, just randomly posted. I got all my stuff from my office yesterday; I had a hard time. I was there longer than any other job I've had. I hope I made the right decision.
(No, I know I made the right decision...but I hope the transition isn't too awful. It's only hitting me now that I'm going to a new job in 4 days. Can we all just go back to Philly and play again and avoid the real world for a little while longer?)

Moe, I'll meet you in Philly. Who else is in?

Welcome home, Amy - I'm still impressed that you came all that way, supported all of us for all those hours. And have that baby thing going on (you too, Lori!). Very cool and much appreciated.

I am headed off to Troy to meet my dad for our race, then racing off in the car to Skaneateles, NY for a T'giving dinner with the BF's family. I believe that means I get to indulge a little extra in the 'goop'...A's mother's ubiquitous side dish containing Cool Whip, some kind of fruit, and who knows what. It's disgusting and yet strangely one of the best things on their T'giving table.

Oh, good QOD - what's your favorite dish at Thanksgiving?

Truthfully, my favorite is the sandwich the day after: mash, stuffing, turkey, gravy, beans, cranberries, mashed between two pieces of toast. Mmmmm...but the day of - definitely the stuffing.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope everybody has something fun planned.

QOD: I gotta say the turkey with gravy is my favorite. But it's all good.

And guys, don't feel guilty about eating too much. It's Thanksgiving... you're supposed to overeat. And we're all runners, so we can work it off tomorrow or the next day. Have fun and enjoy the day!

can I answer the QOD2 from yesterday? I'm thankful for the friendships I've made here. I've been thinking a lot about that the last few days, and it is truly amazing to have such connections with people from all over the place. I look forward to checking in with everyone each day; I loved the time we spent together last weekend; I hope I can meet everyone at some point.
