Good morning. I just woke up a bit ago and it didn't feel like I was going to slip back into sleep for an hour more of sleep til the alarm. Still waiting for the big pot of coffee to finish brewing.

Wow! I thought for sure I was gonna be first today!! In work early cause I dropped Moonie off at the ariport bright and early.

All I can say about last weekend was it was amazing, from start to finish! There is so much I could say and I am sure throughout the course of the day I will say a lot! I was a non-runner for the weekend and it definately lends a different twist to it all. Maybe I will just post a spectator report!! But it was so wonderful to connect with people I haven't seen in a while, to meet so many new people, to enjoy the company of good friends!! And I can't even describe what it was like to spot everyone coming to the finish line. I thought about people's goals and what they said this race was for them and honestly got excited and teary eyed when some of you got close!! It was fabulous!!!

I will give one extra special shout out to my DH. What a frigging trooper!! Not only did he spend the whole weekend wtih me and some crazy runners, but he ended up stripping down to just a windbreaker and a couple of T shirts to distribute his warm clothes to runners and he made quite a few trips back to our car (which wasn't close) to do beer runs for everyone! He is a keeper!!! A wiseass, but a keeper!

Ok, looking forward to hearing from everyone else. And even though I was there, looking forward to reading race reports!! Happy Monday friends!

Good morning!
I could hardly believe it last night when I was heading home from Philly that there was snow about 30 minutes north of the city! Well, it's still snowing, it looks like there are about 4 inches on the deck outside! Crazy stuff!

I just had the most amazing weekend! I loved meeting every single one of you who were there!! And now I cannot wait for more gatherings. Congratulations to everyone on their races and I'm glad everyone made it into town for our fun weekend!!

Good morning everyone. It's been a white since I posted. I just wanted to say it was great seeing everyone this weekend in Philly. This is really a great group of people for both your friendliness and in what people accomplish. The weather was a bit challenging, but there were some impressive performances.

Thanks again to Alexis for arranging dinner Sat. nite.

Morning friends -

Well, it's over. And it was a ton of fun. Got to meet up with a bunch of folks that I met in NJ last spring, and met a whole slew of others. There are so many fine people here on this board, it defies logic.

Big time thanks to Theia for organizing Saturday night, and sorting out bills for the post race gathering afterwards.

And I concur with Beeker - her husband was an absolute trooper. You can find wise asses anywhere, but if you find a guy that is handing you beers immeadieatly after finishing, well that is a special guy

I hope all that are travelling get to their destinations safely.

As I said before this weekend, he is the ultimate cheerleader. Just like NJ it was great to be running along (in this weekends case-miserably) and see him on his bike keeping track of us all! He's such a great guy! So are the other husbands/SO's that were there!

I too had a great weekend. I wish it was longer so I would have had more time to talk to everyone. And let me tell you, we're all pretty good looking online but we are HAWT in real life!!!!

As Jill said, driving home last night the rain turned into snow. When we got to the top of the mountain (where I live) it was a winter wonderland. I felt like I had driven to New England, not an hour from Philly!

It's still coming down here and my willow trees are not happy at all. I'm worried I might loose some branches. My co-worker said to go out and shake off the snow but she doesn't realize my one willow is huge so that isn't really possible.

So all in all I think I need to start saving my money for next years gathering because there is no way I am missing it no matter where it is! I love you guys!

An awesome weekend, start to finish. SO great to meet and hang out with such fantastic people. I can't remember the last time I had such a fabulous weekend. You all are amazingly wonderful people!

Pacer -- I wish you could have met us at the pub, too -- I joked that I've now waved to you running by me twice in the last two weeks, but I haven't actually met you yet

I just scheduled my afternoon massage... nice.
I'll get some pix and my RR up a little later
