<p>Morning Tonya! Where is everyone else? </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I don't know if it counts as FUN, but today I'm taking the GRE at noon. (well, I have to be there by 11:30a to do...something, I don't know what). At this point I just want to take it and get a score; I've been reviewing for about two months, so I feel like I'm about as prepared as I can be. I just need to see if it all paid off or not. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Any spare good vibes you guys can send me starting at noon EST would be GREATLY appreciated......<img alt="uhoh2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/uhoh2.gif"></p>

<p>My mother was at the hospital all day yesterday and back again today. They're running tests because she's been spiking fevers for a month or so. I don't know what it all means, but it's not ideal...and might be bad.</p>

<p>I talked to my sis yesterday and she asked if I was going to be home last night, because she was having chest pains and, while she figured it was nothing (eg an anxiety attack), she needed a contingency plan. My sis never complains of feeling stressed but she is and she's finally opening up about it.

<p>I would really like to crawl under a rock for a bit. I'm worried about a ton of stuff right now, more than I've mentioned. Feeling very lonely at the moment. Meh.</p>

<p>Woke up to 5 inches of snow on the ground. Glad I got my Comet onto the parking pad yesterday and draped with a car cover. The wife wanted it off the front lawn by the time the snow came...I did...with just minutes to spare.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Heard from my son last night. Not much information, he just wanted to know where his orthodontist's office was located. He still hasn't informed me where he's staying. <p>Just getting some stuff finished up here then I'm off for a few days. It's the annual conference for Recreation Nova Scotia and it should be very interesting, but very busy. In one way, I'm looking forward to it. But I'm also tired of being on the road and I'll miss my family. I'm glad this season of conferences and workshops is almost done.</p>

<p>Torgue - WTF? How old is your son and why did he take off? This seems like it has gone on for a while. I don't have teenagers, but if I had ever done anything like that my parents would have come gotten me and grounded me for a LONG time. I guess kids have more options to take off these days. That just seems crazy to me though. Sorry you and your family are dealing with that.</p>

<p>Ann, the early questions do more to determine your final score than anything else. If they feel like they are getting harder as you go along, that is actually a good sign that you are answering things correctly and your baseline score is moving upward.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For anyone who has heard about today's bomb threat at OSU, I am fine. 3 of the 4 evacuated buildings are close by but not so close as to require us to be evacuated this time. What fun. Not!</p>

We are hosting TG dinner. Sounds like fun, right??? My mom and DD will be here, which will be super cool. We are cooking much of the menu, and asking guests to bring a few things... We had talked about getting a turkey cooked <em><strong>for</strong></em> us (apparently, one can have that done!) Now . . . not so sure. We may just do it ourselves.... Decisions, decisions....<br>
