<p>Knee feels 99.99731 % better, 3 1/2 weeks of rest, p.t. and acupuncture left. My new winter running shoes arrive today in the mail. <img alt="smile.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//smile.gif"></p>

<p>Total -20.5</p>

<p>Did an easy 5 miles last night and ate too much afterwards, so I gained a 1/2 pound. No big deal.</p>
<p>Only 25 miles for my 2nd week of taper. Did get in a 5k time trial in 21.27 for a 14 second all time PR.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Looking forward to the marathon next weekend. I may be 10 pounds lighter than Flounder but I will be about an hour behind him.</p>

<p>Time for me to join you guys again.  I've been slacking and eating everything in sight.  Also, recently because of my weight the inside of my right knee has been giving me allot of trouble.  I'm sitting at 589 miles running this year far less than 1058 I was at last year at this time.  I don't know but my training has sucked.  Far too much food and spirits and not enough training and eating right.</p>

<p>Current weight-240</p>
<p>Start weight-240 (also a restart)</p>
<p>Goal weight-225 by Thanksgiving will set a new goal then</p>
