Hello hello. Track workout went as OK as it could have. I did have a major GI issue after my first 400, but luckily I was at a track/stadium with, um, facilities I could use. My paces were good, and I'm pleased with the workout.

Woke up this morning at 5:30 to go for a swim, got out of bed to turn off the alarm, and exclaimed "OUCH!" as I realized my back was in complete spasm. It's up high on the left side of my spine. Emergency chiropractor appointment at 11 a.m. She compared my erector spinae to the cables on a suspension bridge and said plywood is more flexible than my spine right now. Another appointment Friday to see if we can work this mess out. It could be a combination of factors -- lifting and twisting in my basement this weekend, running counter-clockwise on the track, sleeping weird... who knows. At least it's a little better than it was at 5:30 a.m. It literally hurt to breathe at that point.

Happy Humpday, all. And shame on me for not officially welcoming Novia. Welcome!

TimR, no one's figured out that I'm way past 30 yet. I think your secret is safe.
