Hey it's my mom's birthday! Haha, well anyways, 200 workout tonight. Will probably be either 9 or 12 of 'em. Not going all out tonight, I gotta start getting ready for this weekend!

Have a great weekend.

I was able to get 16 miles in this morning. I started early with the light of Venus shining brilliantly in the east. During mile 8, an amazing meteorite zipped across the sky above me. I then noticed that there was lightning off to the west and I wondered if it was going to rain before I completed the run. During mile 14, it started raining. A few minutes later, a full rainbow appeared directly in front of me. I can't think of ever seeing so many interesting natural phenomena during one run.

Wow Lofcaudio, that's the best part of runing, isn't it? I love looking at stuff. Anyway, track workout for me tonight - my first anything since Sunday. 3 x 1000 repeats, then 3 x 600 repeats, then 3 x 200 repeats. I expect to be stiff and slow, but that's OK.

First real activity since Sunday - I went for a fast walk: 2.7 miles. One hamstring is a little tight, but otherwise I'm feeling pretty good!

I'll do some weights and Core later.

I cancelled my Hotel reservation for Houston today - Too bad its a nice marathon, but its just not going to happen by January. Focus is now on Boston alone in April.

Good running to all -

Lofcaudio, what an amazing run. I'm slightly envious!

I had one of those runs where I felt lousy and tired driving to the location but then ended up having a great run. I did 7 miles with a running buddy. My workout called for 7 X 2:00 pickups to 5K race pace feel with 2:00 recoveries. This worked great because my RB is faster so he acted like the rabbit during the pickups. It was dark when we finished and the moon & stars were very bright in his non-lit out of town neighborhood. There is also a blimp factory (!) a mile from his house that we pass and tonight there were two blimps out and lit up. You don't see that everyday.

Our time was 1:01. I slightly strained my calf in pilates yesterday but didn't even feel that on the run. It was great!

The best part about posting last is reading about all your runs.

Amazing weather for Oct 17. Overcast 66F at 7:45pm.

5 miles recovery, 42 min. Twenty minutes of weights and core with the exercise ball.

I hope the weather cools down for those running Columbus this weekend.
