<p>Fun: Meetings ALL day today. Ok, so maybe that's not fun. But if I keep telling myself it is, it might be...right? No? Oh well.</p>

<p>I did have a nice blueberry muffin for breakfast today. That's fun. : )</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It's a beautiful day out there. The Crown Princess is in port (that thing is massive) so there'll be lots of people wandering around town. I hope to get out for a walk at some point. And have lunch with DH, if I can get out of the meetings.</p>

<p>ok got set up with a guy, we've been emailing back and forth the last couple of days. Turns out he's my friend from a long time ago's brother. His parents LOVED me when I hung out with his sister.... we're going 4-wheeling on sunday as a first date. I keep laughing at the randomness that is my life. </p>
<p>Heh, I love South Park. Didn't watch last night, though. I TiVo it, and I'll get to it eventually. Of course, I've never seen <em>Jersey Shore</em>, so this episode probably won't be too funny to me...</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Not Fun</strong>: I still have the ugly cold that I was whining about yesterday. In fact, when I got home yesterday, I felt worse than I did at any other point in the day. I took my temperature at about 5:30p, and it was 101.0! I slept for a couple hours and felt better. When I went to bed for good (about 10:00p) my temp was down to 99.0. This morning when I woke up, it was 98.0, which is pretty normal for me. So I figured it was safe to go to work. But now that I've been here for a couple hours, I feel like absolute crap again. Hrmph. I might not make it thru the day...</p>

<p>So real reason pregnant women shouldn't paint? It's not the fumes or anything like that, it's that we underestimate our belly and end up resting it on an already painted surface!! <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/lol.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;" title=""> But I got the doors to the cubby in little man's room done, woot woot!!</p>

<p>Off to the lab. If all goes well I should finish processing my gazillion samples today and be ready to ship them off if my order every gets placed!! I will be doing a dance of joy for sure, this is the project next year's funding rests on and after many fits and starts looks like it might finally yield some results!</p>

<p>Kath, I hear ya. I tried to get up a little early this morning to get into work early...but I was TIRED and just need a little more sleep. Plus, I'd accidentally locked Trixie out of my room last night and she was crying when I woke up. I let her in and she snuggled up under the covers next to me and how could I get up then? <img alt="smile.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//smile.gif"></p>

<p>There will be minimal tarting up. I am going to try to get a haircut in on Saturday and I will straighten my hair and put on a bit of make up but really when you're wearing jeans and boots and a crash helmet how much tarting up really needs to be done. This could be an EPIC first date. I love 4-wheeling and I think it's way better than trying to make small talk over dinner. right???<br><br>

<p><strong>Kath</strong> I was up 3 times last night to pee! Of course I have someone playing hackey sack with my bladder but thw worst part last night was I was also starving, so had to have a snack and then game over. I was wide awake!!! </p>
