<p>Waited until Tuesday before posting because weight was unusually high yesterday and Sunday. Ran a pre-marathon half-marathon (training) on Saturday and then boom - on Sunday my weight was up 9lbs. Ended up being my first floater in a month. I wanted things to stabilize before checking in..</p>

<p>of course if it was down 9lbs I would have reported that. Love this selective "oh that's not real" mentality..</p>

<p>Look at those two floaters. I hate 'em.</p>

<p>Damn slow progress ... but I am enjoying training ... getting stronger and faster.  I am in a good training spot if I can just lose the weight ... even if I do not lose the weight I will be in pretty good shape by Houston Marathon.</p>

<p>I did run the Glacial 50k this weekend - I really like this event - Low key - fun hanging out and BSing afterward.  I just wanted a strong training run and hit the start line Sunday with 102 miles for the week.   I ran 2:27 out and 2:26 back in for 4:53.  Cassie Scallon a WI woman transplanted to CO won the 50k outright in 4:15?? (Not sure of time) for a woman's course record.  She also holds the 50M record.  Smallish event, but it was the 25 annual, so still a nice accomplishment.</p>

<p>This week I need to be pretty good Mon-Fri as we are going to the Badger game on Saturday.</p>
