Morning all, at my gym taking a short rest period after our group workout this morning. Meh. About to run in a bit.

Ailarie sending some weekend fun vibes your way!

Larry I'd like to do flight medicine at some point, transporting NICU babies hopefully. I have friends that are paramedics and they say some of those crash scenes are pretty rough. I have to tell you though, being in a code situation is some insane rush. It's great to have team type of people that know how to work under pressure at your back. I bet you'll fit very well and will be under control in the type of situations you'll end up in. When the tough calls come, and they will, hang in there and know you have support here.

Moe When you're dealing with something like what your friend is dealing with the very best thing in the world is someone you know you can tell all your thoughts to. I am certain he appreciates that you're there. Pretty awesome.

Maples Sorry to hear ya didn't rest well last night. I bet it was cause you were dreamin' of chasing me across Bama. Tired huh?

You better get your sorry butt out there and run today! That's an order! Seriously, get some rest. I get to claim slowest runner in our southern group, not you!

RFTL that sounds like a lot of fun. Let us know how the cake turns out!

Katholeenie Very cute pic. I'll have to look into scanning in a baby pic soon.

It's been a long week for me. Work has been pretty darn intense both days and my mouth is taking the slow heal route after the root removal from Wed. I miss food.

Took care of our tiniest baby the 320 gramer on Thursday. She was "stable" (for her) until about 15 minutes before shift change (of course) then she wanted to have a little fun with us. Long story short, full code chest compressions and Epi times three (which I pushed in fast per orders and scared me half to freakin' death doing it on a baby that small when someone else pulled it up and handed it to me and my mind is screamin' five rights) It was one of those shifts where you're walking out and someone looks at you and says, you are coming back tomorrow, right? And you look back at them with big eyes, take a deep breath, pause, then say in almost a whisper, right.

On second thought, RFTL, can we start a bakery together? I can bake!
