I should have asked this at the beginning of the year. I thought I would be self-motivated enough, but I'm not yet so I need help. Who is up for the challenge?

I wouldn't mind being touched or crushed while I'm being coached.
haha ... yeah ... I need to tone it down a bit, apparently <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/uhoh2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="uhoh2"><br><br>
In my defense ... I did coach my daughter to a 1/2 marathon in 2 1/2 months, not a fast one but we easily made the distance from 0 mpw to raceday<br><br><br>
and ... I coached hubby on a 4-day-in-a-row-week to a pretty respectable first and only half marathon at the Piggy last spring ... 1:40 or something like that and he'd never run more than 3-4 miles at a time before February last year <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> -( he's pretty strong willed and goal oriented like me)

I've had some nice offers and some people have questions about what I'm looking for. I'd like to do another half this summer or fall. Last year was my first and my training went fairly well, but the race did not. I definitely want lifting and crosstraining (biking and swimming) included because last year I neglected those more that I would have liked. I might do a duathlon just for fun as well as some 5K, 10K, or 4 mile races along the way.
i could whip up some relatively devastating plans in a jiff. I cant wait to coach high school XC and inflict my ways on unsuspecting children <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
