Damn it! I was hoping this was happening later. I was going to enjoy some <b>peanut M&Ms</b> today. Oh well, I'll be giving up <b>peanut M&Ms</b> for the duration. I'll have to write myself a note at work so I don't grab some where they tempt me everyday. Also, I'll have to take a (more healthy) snack to the office.

This is a difficult one! I have a terrible sweet/fat tooth. I'm going to do it, though...<br><br>
I'm giving up store-bought sweets, particularly snack cakes. I love Twinkies, even though I know they're devoid of anything nutritionally sound. I prefer to make the snacks I send to school in my kids' lunches, but when pressed for time I opt for Twinkies. Guess who eats most of them?<br><br>
Actually, this goes along with one of my weight management goals for the campaign. I'm avoiding foods that I like but are available all the time. During this season my only indulgences are going to be on foods that are "special", and only available during the holidays.

Mine will have to be <b>candy</b> in general, as in candy from the kids' Halloween buckets, Christmas parade stashes, and all the candy jars at work--HR office, a co-worker's office, etc. This will be tough. But it needs to be done. Yesterday afternoon I managed to snag:<br><br>
4-5 twizzlers<br>
1 fun size bag m&m's<br>
1 fun size 3 Musketeers<br>
1 little bag of runts<br><br>
All from the same candy bowl and that was my snack. Pure sugar.<br><br><br>
Should we revoke our 10 points if we don't make it or not add them until the end of the campaign when we do make it?<br><br>

Oh God. I was going to give up Oreos, because although those are my favorite, I would still be left with a whole lotta other junky stuff that I could eat. That doesn't seem quite right though, so I'll copy one of the other posters and give up......<br><br><span style="color:#000000;">all store bought sweets</span> including but not limited to candy bars, oreos, other packaged cookies, MY FAVORITE whoopie pies, ICE CREAM, granola bars (not technically junk food, but I eat them like crazy)....<br><br>
Oooooo this should help me lose my last 5 or 10 pounds! This is going to be tragic, though. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="sad2">

I couldn't give up ice cream because, well, it's also pie season--apple, pumpkin, pecan, berry--whatever your poison it's all better with ice cream <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">. Even though Cool Whip is a very viable alternative.
