Pros Cons
  • light weight, great support, aggressive tread design works on all surfaces
  • haven't found any yet!

I decided to try the Trail Attack after being disappointed by the much higher rated Brooks Cascadia. I used the new shoes right out of the box for a 7 miler and they felt great - perfect fit in the heel and midfoot with just the right amount of room for the toes in front. A few days later I did an 11.5 mile trail run on a very challenging trail and not once did I think about my shoes how my shoes felt. They transitioned very smoothly from one surface to the next as I went over gravel roads, single track, pavement, wooden bridges; the ride was consistently smooth throughout. I rarely give a shoe a 5-star rating, but the Trail Attack is worthy of one in my opinion. And the base price is $10 less than the Cascadia!
