They are oppressive to the experience, how do I get rid of them?


when we first immigrated to this site we were able to donate and make them go away. Cannot find such an option now, point me in the right direction?


I get needing to pay for the site care and feeding, but these ads are so slow that it's annoying. So I'm happy to donate so I get both a good experience and no [email protected] ads.


p.s. lay off the multi-media ads or newbs are not going to stick around.

Looking at the Terms of Service, apparently KR has been bought out by some outfit called "Verticalscope" (as have many other previously independent forums). The original admins no doubt made (understandably) some minor cash for their hard work, and the users are now stuck with the obnoxious ads and censorship and general feeling of stagnation. As mentioned on some other website I was perusing re: VS, the Borg has Assimilated.....
