Are there going to be any choice of skins with a darker option? This one hurts my (and a few Masters) old eyes.

I know I should know if this has been answered

Hally:

We can do some minor adjustments on the colors and contrasts - but there isn't another template skin option. What do you think is needed?

Darker text? Lighter background?

Specifically contrast when viewing a particular forum.  At least for me, it's difficult to read the listing of thread topics.  Once inside a particular thread, it's fine.

I asked the developers to have the 'oldest guy' on the team to take a look at it. I agree the contrast is not the best. I'm giving them some time to get multiple 'eyes' to look at it. They are working on a lot of  upgrades and keeping in contact with us on them. They will make some changes and I'm sure - eventually - we'll get a happy medium. I know it won't satisfy everyone - but I hope it will satisfy most.

Thanks for your patience.

You should ask how old the "oldest guy" is!    Or ask them to have their moms take a look at it instead.  hee!

Seriously...they may not realize just how, um, mature the KR user base really is.  I use the term "mature" loosely here, obviously.

Speaking for myself, I find that I have to really look closely to figure out which threads in a forum have new comments, and so on.  I get annoyed (okay, lazy) when I have to work just to determine which threads to open and I often end up wandering away to FaceBook or something else.  Gawd, did I just say I prefer FB to KR???  <shudder!>  I hate that website!  But at least it's readable.  Sort of.

Is it just me?  I suspect not, but don't really know.  Is the KR activity down significantly?  I know it is in the multi-sport forum, but really don't frequent the others.

yes, it is down significantly.   I prefer FB too, btw.  It's just easier.

Huddler will work up a few mock up templates for us next week. I'd like a few volunteers who'd like to see those mockups and offer your thoughts and opinion on it. If you're willing to help, please send me a private message.

Thank you

I think it is much improved.... BUT.... why is it so "spacey"? Why can't we get more threads per page and cut out so much of the white space? Or maybe just kill the white space perhaps?

Basically, seems like I'm constantly scrolling
