I'm new here, but I've been lurking for long enough to have "known" Voo through his posts. His passing has been foremost on my mind since yesterday. Others have said it all so much better than I can, but he was so full of life - kind and fun and thoughtful and strong. He touched SO many people, and I know that there are probably three times the number of posters lurking and being as affected by his loss as I am. He was an incredible spirit, and I know he has changed many lives and made the world so much better.
I got out there and ran today, because Voo would have. I've constantly struggled with sticking with it, but I want to be a runner to honor his spirit. WWVD? He would git 'er done, and I can too.
Jenna, I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP, Joe. You made the world better by being you, and we'll continue to spread what you taught us.
From My Man, by the Eagles:
"I once knew a man, very talented guy
He's sing for the people and people would cry
They knew that his song came from deep down inside
You could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes
And so he traveled along, touch your heart, then be gone
Like a flower, he bloomed till that old hickory wind
Called him home
My man's got it made
He's gone far beyond the pain
And we who must remain go on living just the same
We who must remain go on laughing just the same"
