I have the Premium version but don't use the log. I use the log on runningahead.com as well as trainingpeaks.com so I can share with my coach. I don't see that I'll use the one here.

Ever since the Big Crash back at CoolRunning, when I lost my entire log, I've opted to keep my own simplified version.

I don't use a log -- quit somewhere several years ago (200th marathon or further run or 40,000 miles or something really important).

I'm not much help here.

I use Running Ahead. My primary sport is paddling and the one here was useless for that.

Not offended at all.

I'm just interested in the scope and usage of the log - no harm no foul.

Thanks

I use the running log on RA (RunningAhead.com). I also maintain my log in Training Center on my personal PC.

due to injury, I haven't been using a log for a few months. As my training starts kicking back in, I am happy to give this one a whirl!

. . .  And in music news, number one on the college charts this summer was Better than Ezra.   And at number two:  Ezra.

I use a website based in the UK, I know the guy who developed it and so have used it for about 5 years. I'm also confident that if it all went wrong I could get my data in an Excel file.

This is a great forum though

I was hoping to check out the basic running log in the near future. I just write my mileage on my calendar!

I just use an excel spreadsheet. Haven't had the need to do anything beyond that.

As a triathlete, I use the logs at beginnertriathlete.com. A nice feature there is that all info can be downloaded and imported into Excel.

I've been using RA's version, but now I figure KR would be a good second source JIC things go bad

I have been writing my mileage on a calendar for the last 10 years or so. This year I tried on on line log at runningahead.com. So far so good. No need for 2 on line logs. Probably no need for 1, but I liked the mapping feature on that log. I plan to use it until they change it so it becomes undesirable (example make me take product surveys) When I looked into this log it asked me about my shoes, I could not figure out how to bypass the question, which was to me a red flag to stay away from it. running ahead does not have as many intrusive and very unappealing ads (with photos of overweight mid sections and bad teeth), so I prefer that site.

I have used a paper log for 21 years and think I will continue - I like looking back at times to see how tings are going years later. I tried cool running log (maintained the paper log at the same time) and don't want to go through the loss of info again.

It's the first thing I do after a run. The less trees we have to kill, the better.
And for everyone who mentioned the coolrunning fiasco, add my grumble to those.

Similar to what Cee Jay said.

I used the Cool Running log from 2004 until it got "Activated". When was that? 2008? I don't remember.

Anyway, I haven't been using any log at all. Just occasionally keeping track of things on an excel spreadsheet. Nothing consistent.
