Monday, September 16 Workouts

Commute day for me - 19 in and probably 20+ back for 39+ on the day. Switched over to clear-lens glasses for the ride home ... At least this morning's ride didn't require leg warmers, and it sounds like temps are heading up into the 70's and possibly 80's for the upcoming weekend's Seacoast Century. That's good news...

Also went for a 4+ mile run w/Team KEG at lunch (the E after a couple of weeks' absence from running). Good to have the gang out huffing and puffing together....

Geo - it was a full breakfast buffet post-race...scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, breakfast pizza (cooked on the grill), bagels, cornbread, yogurt, all kinds of fruit, yogurt and ice cream... Nice run btw.

Yo - some at home exercises - bridges (using a block), hamstring roll out on an exercise ball, deadlift from a block (NOT single leg)...hamstring roll out - lay flat on your back, ankles/heels on ball, bring the ball into your butt THEN lift your hips into a bridge and roll the ball out. Start with both legs, with emphasis on the one that you need to work, and then progress to single leg roll out. Does that make sense?

Day off today - need to do hamstring graston and PT, but that's it - I will take the beastie for a walk later.
