Question Mixing it up (literally) and POTD (positive of the day)

Kitchen aide for all or hand mixer for all or both depending on job? Inquiring minds want to know.

Say something positive about the person who posts next to you in this thread. Yes, you have to check back but why the heck not.

Both. Mostly because I have both and my KA is up on a shelf, so if I am doing something quick, I just grab the hand mixer. KA for pasta (love attachment!), KA out on counter for a few days over the holidays as that's the only time I do multiple baking sessions (I am not a big baker!).

MQ is one of the kindest, sweetest, most inclusive people I know. Glad to know you!

I don't own electric mixer. I have a hand mixer but never used it...(I don't bake much). When I do need to mix something, I just use a fork and work really hard.

Handheld mixer for most things because I have a HUGE KitchenAid Pro. That only gets dragged out if I'm making double batches or something heavy.

Depends on the job. Heather would say the same.

Sparty is someone who is passionate with great compassionate, two traits that, in my opinion, do not come together all that often, and is far, far tougher than her inviting smile; she deals with so much more than most people know, and she does it with her usual calmness. She is, put another way, a friend through and through.

GREAT idea, MQ!

I have a big KA mixer that I use for big jobs and chocolate chip cookies. Hand mixer is super handy for small jobs. I also have an immersion blender that never seems to get used.

MQ is engaging, inspiring, and enthusiastic!

Ksurp has a heart of gold and an iron will to get things done. She manages a busy career and family and still finds time to take care of herself, an admirable skill. Injuries do not deter her or stop her from accomplishing what she wants athletically. Overall, a true athlete, partner and friend.

I have an old hamilton beech multi-station (mixer, blender, food processor) and I also use my ninja to mix dough. Don't have a handheld...never liked them.

Thor is an inspiration!

I have a big KA mixer also and use that or by hand for smaller things. I use and immersion blender for veggie soups which I make quite often.

Zoj has a profile picture that makes me want to get out in the snow, a positive attitude and if feel we share a point of view quite often, she is a fiatful poster and keeps us all going.
