Exclamation Virtual IMMoo for Ronbo!

Yay!!!!

I have 112 on the bike FIB 6 mile run or 60 min whichever comes first. I also have a distance swim so 2+ miles.

Adult beverage of choice may be beer making with H and then a dark and stormy or angry orchard hard cider. Need to try hard root beer too.

Post it up peeps!

I have an hour and a half on the trainer (so I'll get the boring part out of the way for him) plus a total of about 2.6 miles swimming.

Looks like some miles needed on running part. I will run at least 6 miles! For a change, I am not riding on trails, so I can't cover you Ron for any falls, poison ivy, eating dust, kissing tress, any of that.
Go kill it, Ron!!!

Wait, Sparty, those would be *curls* right???

RIZO ride on Saturday, so I am in for 78 miles of riding, ~4500 feet of climbing, with two Cat 2 and four Cat 5 climbs sprinkled in...

Oh and post-ride adult beverages will be consumed!

thanks everyone back to the hotel

swim 1:19 which i wasn't pleased with, was shooting for a 1:05. But the congestion and quantity of d*ckhead "all world athletes" (black caps) made the swim too violent for my taste to take the inner line so I took a wide line - too wide it seems.
t1 is STUPID long - just a lot of distance I am amazed only 13:54
bike was 7:12 which i also wasn't pleased with. I really am not sure why, it was just... slow. I could blame a few guys I was leap frogging with who did not know "ride right pass left" for killing my momentum or whatever but I dont think that is it. temps were IDEAL and wind didn't seem that bad. I will analyze more at home
t2 again stupid long distances - i will take the 9:35 - that included tearing my sock and having to get my bike socks back on as well as rolling my back with my little portable rollers.
run was 6:57 and honestly I'm over the moon pleased. With as little run base and no speed work, to be able to do a run walk for the entire thing and keep my speed ? Awesome. Will analyze more later. I actually SPED up at the end. last split is brutally all up hill FYI.

Also my garmin ran out of power even though I had it off for much of the bike (it freaked and stopped recording - thankfully I have my bike computer garmin) and even then i made it to maybe mile 12. My run coach found me on course and gave me hers so I could watch pacing which i did - but hers died at 19. So I was running naked for most. Totally by feel.

Overall very happy and feel that Roth vengeance is complete. Moo is a hard course, no doubt. I would say the bike is harder than Cda - I retract my prior comments on that topic. The run is absolutely harder. Crowd support was great (not ROTH quality, but for any other race? It was probably number 2 or 3).

fun times, now time to get in the normatec and pass out

Wow! I tracked you until the last 10 mi before crashing into bed. I admit briefly forgetting you were on CST and was yelling at my computer for you to move your ass... So glad you got your revenge and awesome job on a tough course!

Way to go, Ronbo! I followed along after my long ride on Sunday. I am pretty sure we took on any windy conditions you might have had down in Louisville ; )

Did you have a normal 7am start or the delayed 7:30am start? Can't wait for your full report!!!
